Rapid Battery Drain
Battery capacity deteriorates or discharges unusually quickly, resulting in substantially shorter operating time than expected. Some affected units require daily or near-continuous charging.
Acme Revival is an independent repair network that operates separately from the manufacturers whose devices we service. Our independence enables a repair model that exists beyond manufacturer-controlled strategies, while preserving the ability to work with manufacturers where appropriate.
General Procurement, Inc. is a privately held technology distributor and OEM/brand operator established in the 1990s, supplying computer hardware and consumer electronics across the U.S. and international markets. Its business originated in computer memory brokerage and expanded into components and finished devices including hard drives, flash memory, processors, motherboards, monitors, desktops, notebooks, tablets, smartphones, TVs and related peripherals. GPI has registered/certified numerous smartphones and tablets under brands including Hyundai and Vulcan, while manufacturing evidence shows that at least some of these products are produced by third-party factories in Shenzhen. The company describes itself as having global distribution and OEM capabilities and works with major manufacturers and retailers, making it better characterized as a technology distributor/private-label OEM using outsourced manufacturing than as a vertically integrated factory operator.

The device stops accepting a charge, charges incompletely, or becomes unreliable while connected to its charger. In severe cases the unit eventually cannot be powered on.
The touchscreen becomes unresponsive, registers incorrect touches, or behaves erratically. Touch input can become especially unstable while the device is connected to external power.
The display develops flickering, flashing, lines, image instability, or other intermittent visual corruption. Cycling power may temporarily clear the problem on some units.
The device repeatedly cycles through startup or fails to complete the boot process. Firmware recovery or reinstallation may be required, and affected devices may not always be recognized normally by a computer.
Wi-Fi reception can be unusually weak or unstable compared with other devices on the same network. Some units maintain a usable connection only when relatively close to the wireless router.
The rear of the device, particularly around the battery area, can become excessively hot during operation. Severe cases can result in unexpected shutdowns.
Some units stop functioning entirely after relatively short periods of use, including reports of devices dying within months or even during initial use. The resulting symptom is typically a device that no longer starts or responds normally.
Integrated or bundled input hardware such as touchpads and mice can malfunction, fail to pair, develop intermittent connections, or stop working. These failures can make otherwise operational tablet/2-in-1 hardware difficult to use.
