LED Backlight Failure
LED backlight strips can fail or degrade, causing a black or very dim screen while sound continues to work. Partial failures can also produce dark bands, uneven illumination, or flickering.
Acme Revival is an independent repair network that operates separately from the manufacturers whose devices we service. Our independence enables a repair model that exists beyond manufacturer-controlled strategies, while preserving the ability to work with manufacturers where appropriate.
Hisense is a large global consumer-electronics and home-appliance OEM/manufacturer founded in 1969. Its core products include televisions and displays, refrigerators, air conditioners, washing machines, and other household appliances, alongside commercial HVAC, laser-display products, automotive electronics, semiconductors, and smart-energy technologies. Hisense is particularly well known for televisions—including large-format and MiniLED TVs—and has developed an extensive international manufacturing network. The company reports 36 industrial parks and production bases globally, with manufacturing in China as well as countries including Mexico, South Africa, Slovenia, and the Czech Republic.

Power-supply components can fail and prevent the unit from powering on or maintaining stable operation. Typical symptoms include a blinking standby light, intermittent shutdowns, repeated restarts, or complete loss of power.
The main PCB can develop component, power-regulation, or communication faults that disrupt multiple functions at once. Common symptoms include failure to boot, frozen startup screens, unresponsive controls, missing inputs, or erratic operation.
Hisense refrigeration and air-conditioning hardware can experience compressor starting, inverter-drive, or communication failures. The unit may run without cooling, repeatedly attempt to start, shut down on protection, or stop cooling entirely.
Indoor, evaporator, or condenser fan motors can develop electrical faults or worn bearings that prevent proper airflow. Symptoms include poor cooling, abnormal noise, fan-related error codes, or complete fan stoppage.
Hisense washing-machine drain pumps can become blocked, develop damaged impellers, or suffer motor failure. Affected machines may retain water, stop during a cycle, produce drain errors, or hum without pumping water.
Washer door-lock mechanisms and their electrical interlocks can wear out or fail. The machine may refuse to start, report a door error, fail to lock, or remain locked after the cycle.
Washer drum bearings and associated seals can deteriorate after extended use, particularly when seal wear allows water into the bearing assembly. Typical symptoms include progressively louder rumbling or grinding during spin, excessive vibration, and drum play.
Hisense refrigerators can suffer failures of the defrost heater, thermostat, thermistor, or associated control circuitry. Ice then accumulates around the evaporator, restricting airflow and eventually causing poor or uneven cooling.
