Battery Degradation / Charging Failure
Battery packs lose usable capacity, stop accepting a charge, charge unevenly in dual-battery systems, or eventually require replacement. Aging cells, charging-state calibration, battery connections, and charging hardware can all produce shortened runtime or a battery that remains at zero charging current.
