FoMaKo is a Shenzhen-based professional video-equipment manufacturer and OEM/ODM supplier focused primarily on PTZ cameras and live-production AV equipment. Operating through Shenzhen LeMiGe Technology, it designs and manufactures HD and 4K PTZ cameras supporting technologies such as NDI, HDMI, SDI, USB, IP streaming, PoE, AI auto-tracking, HDR, and optical zoom. Its broader portfolio includes PTZ camera controllers, camera kits, video mixer/switchers, video bars, speakerphones, and related AV equipment. FoMaKo targets professional live streaming and video production, with applications including houses of worship, education, conferences, events and other broadcast/live-production environments. It is particularly known for relatively affordable professional PTZ camera systems and for offering OEM, ODM and JDM customization to other brands and distributors.
The camera powers on but produces no usable HDMI, SDI, USB, or network video. Common associated causes include power problems, failed startup/self-check, incorrect DIP or operating-mode settings, and faulty or incompatible video connections.
The video image periodically disappears or becomes unstable despite the camera remaining powered. FoMaKo troubleshooting documentation commonly points to the output cable, display, capture device, or connection path when this occurs.
The camera cannot be reached through its web interface or network-control software. Typical causes include incorrect IP, subnet, gateway or port settings, IP/MAC conflicts, Ethernet connectivity problems, or the camera and controller being on different network segments.
The infrared remote stops controlling the camera or commands are ignored. Frequent causes include incorrect camera/remote addresses, depleted batteries, an incompatible operating mode, or attempting control while an on-screen menu is active.
The camera outputs video normally but cannot be controlled through its serial interface. Protocol, baud-rate or camera-address mismatches and incorrect or faulty control cabling are repeatedly identified causes.
The image visibly shakes or jitters while the optical zoom is moving. FoMaKo documentation repeatedly associates this symptom with an unstable camera installation or vibration transmitted from nearby equipment.
The camera becomes unreachable after rebooting or reconnecting to the network because its IP address has changed. DHCP assignment and network configuration are common contributors, with FoMaKo documentation recommending fixed/static addressing where persistent addressing is required.
Video is available but embedded or network audio is missing from the camera output or stream. On supported models, audio may be disabled in the web configuration and can require enabling followed by a camera reboot.
AI-equipped models may fail to maintain the intended subject or repeatedly pan while searching for a target. Reported symptoms include tracking that hunts left and right, while configuration, target selection, scene conditions, and lighting can also affect tracking performance.
