Flytech repair, service, and parts

Acme Revival is an independent repair network that operates separately from the manufacturers whose devices we service. Our independence enables a repair model that exists beyond manufacturer-controlled strategies, while preserving the ability to work with manufacturers where appropriate.

Flytech Technology Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based OEM/ODM and computing hardware manufacturer founded in 1984, specializing in purpose-built commercial computing systems. Its core products include point-of-sale (POS) terminals, self-service kiosks, touchscreen panel PCs, handheld/mobile POS devices, embedded box PCs, and customized computing platforms. The company serves primarily retail and hospitality applications while also supplying healthcare and industrial-automation markets. Flytech differentiates itself through vertically integrated, in-house Taiwanese manufacturing and customization capabilities, handling motherboard production through final system assembly at its Taoyuan manufacturing center. It is particularly known for POS and self-service hardware and increasingly combines its hardware platforms with software, remote device management, AI/computer vision, and other intelligent-service solutions.

2 Most Seen Failures:

Touchscreen Failure / Loss of Touch Response

The touchscreen stops responding, responds intermittently, or is not detected by the operating system. Common manifestations include missing touch input after OS reinstallation, controller/driver communication loss, or complete touch-panel failure.

Touchscreen Misalignment / Inaccurate Touch

Touch input registers at the wrong screen position or becomes increasingly inaccurate. Recalibration may temporarily correct the condition, while persistent cases can indicate a touch controller, digitizer, or related interface problem.

USB / Serial I/O Port Failure

USB, COM/RS-232, or other peripheral ports stop detecting connected devices or operate intermittently. The fault can affect scanners, printers, customer displays, MSRs, cash drawers, and other POS peripherals.

SSD / Storage Failure

The SSD or embedded storage becomes unreadable, intermittently disappears, or prevents the terminal from booting normally. Symptoms can include boot errors, operating-system corruption, freezes, and failure to detect the storage device.

Power Supply / Power-On Failure

The terminal fails to power on, unexpectedly loses power, or repeatedly restarts. Likely hardware fault areas include the external power adapter, DC input connection, internal power circuitry, and motherboard power components.

LCD / Display Failure

The integrated LCD produces no image, intermittent video, abnormal brightness, flickering, lines, or other display artifacts. Failures can originate in the LCD panel, backlight, display cable/interface, or motherboard display circuitry.

Motherboard / System Board Failure

The POS terminal fails to POST, freezes unpredictably, repeatedly restarts, or loses multiple onboard functions simultaneously. Failure of the mainboard can affect processing, memory interfaces, storage detection, networking, USB, serial ports, and display output.

Thermal / Cooling Failure

The system overheats, throttles, freezes, or shuts down during sustained operation when heat cannot be dissipated adequately. On actively cooled Flytech systems, fan failure or obstruction is a potential cause; fanless models instead depend on their passive thermal design and unobstructed heat dissipation.

Ethernet / Network Interface Failure

The wired network connection becomes intermittent, fails to establish a link, or disappears from the operating system. The problem can originate from the RJ45 connection, onboard Ethernet controller, associated motherboard circuitry, or physical port damage.

1 Acme Revival offers repair, service, and part rebuild opportunities for most Flytech devices.

Connect with a technician.

  1. 1 Repairs are performed on a best-effort basis. Acme Revival utilizes a network of sophisticated technicians and engineers with diverse service offerings; despite this, factors that influence the repair outcome may ultimately prove unsuccessful. Acme Revival makes no claim that it can, guarantee a repair before your device is sent in for diagnostic evaluation; even then, repair and diagnostic work are not mutually exclusive. Despite well-intentioned quoting, repairs may still prove unsuccessful.
  2. 2 Per information known, researched and collected by Acme Revival and its systems at time of page publishing (September 28, 2026).
