FlexiSpot repair, service, and parts

Acme Revival is an independent repair network that operates separately from the manufacturers whose devices we service. Our independence enables a repair model that exists beyond manufacturer-controlled strategies, while preserving the ability to work with manufacturers where appropriate.

FlexiSpot is the primary international ergonomic furniture and smart-home brand of Loctek Ergonomic Technology Corp., a Chinese manufacturer specializing in linear-motion and height-adjustment systems. The company designs and manufactures products centered on healthier office and home environments, particularly electric height-adjustable standing desks, sit-stand desk converters, ergonomic office chairs, monitor arms, and related workspace products, while its broader portfolio extends into smart beds, recliners and other home furniture. FlexiSpot is particularly known for its motorized standing desks and vertically integrated linear-drive technology. Loctek manufactures through four principal production bases—two in Ningbo, China, one in Beihai, Guangxi, and one in Vietnam—with in-house capabilities including motors, metal forming, welding, wood processing, injection molding, electronics and final assembly.

2 Most Seen Failures:

Motor Failure / Motor Error

One or more lift motors stop operating correctly, leaving the desk unable to raise or lower and often producing E07-E23 or similar motor-related error codes. Persistent cases can require replacement of the motor or control box.

Desk Stuck / Will Not Raise or Lower

The desk becomes completely or partially unresponsive to height commands, commonly after a power interruption, control-system fault, or failed initialization. A reset may restore operation, but persistent failures can indicate a motor, wiring, handset, or control-box problem.

Uneven Lift / Desynchronized Legs

One lifting column moves farther than the other, causing the desktop to become tilted or the control system to halt movement. This is typically associated with motor synchronization, drive-system, connection, or initialization problems.

Excessive Frame Wobble

The desktop or frame moves noticeably during typing, writing, or normal use, particularly at standing heights. Loose frame connections, leg or crossbeam fit, floor conditions, and the inherent rigidity of the frame can contribute to the problem.

Motor Grinding / Clicking / Abnormal Noise

A lift motor or transmission mechanism produces grinding, clicking, creaking, or unusually loud sounds while the desk moves. Persistent abnormal noise can indicate a motor, gearbox, drive-rod, or mechanical alignment problem.

Control Box / Handset Failure

The keypad, display, or control electronics stop responding correctly, preventing normal height adjustment or producing repeated reset and error states. Loose connections can cause similar symptoms, while persistent faults may require controller, handset, or control-box replacement.

False Anti-Collision Triggering

The desk unexpectedly stops or reverses even though there is no physical obstruction in its path. Incorrect sensitivity settings, control-box orientation, vibration, or irregular movement from the lifting hardware can trigger the anti-collision system.

Overheating / Overload Shutdown

The desk temporarily stops operating after excessive continuous use or when the lifting system detects too much load. FlexiSpot controllers can display overheating or overload errors and prevent further movement until the condition is cleared.

Desktop Mounting / Screw-Hole Defects

Mounting holes may be missing, misaligned, or unsuitable for the supplied frame and accessories, forcing users to create mounting points during assembly. Improperly formed or repeatedly tightened holes can also strip, preventing screws from securely holding the frame or components.

Connect with a technician.

  1. 1 Repairs are performed on a best-effort basis. Acme Revival utilizes a network of sophisticated technicians and engineers with diverse service offerings; despite this, factors that influence the repair outcome may ultimately prove unsuccessful. Acme Revival makes no claim that it can, guarantee a repair before your device is sent in for diagnostic evaluation; even then, repair and diagnostic work are not mutually exclusive. Despite well-intentioned quoting, repairs may still prove unsuccessful.
