FatPipe repair, service, and parts

Acme Revival is an independent repair network that operates separately from the manufacturers whose devices we service. Our independence enables a repair model that exists beyond manufacturer-controlled strategies, while preserving the ability to work with manufacturers where appropriate.

- FatPipe Networks is a U.S. networking technology company specializing in software-defined wide area networking (SD-WAN), WAN reliability, cybersecurity, secure access service edge (SASE), network monitoring, load balancing, failover, and WAN optimization. The company is known for developing patented multi-line WAN technology designed to combine multiple Internet or private-network connections, automatically route traffic around outages, improve application performance, and maintain business continuity. Its software can run on FatPipe-configured commodity network-server appliances or as virtualized software in public, private, and hybrid-cloud environments. Major product families and technologies have included FatPipe MPVPN, WARP, IPVPN, Symphony, VNF, SASE, and network-monitoring/security platforms, serving enterprises, government organizations, communications providers, healthcare, education, financial services, hospitality, manufacturing, and other organizations with mission-critical network requirements. 2 Most Seen Failures:

Power Supply Failure

FatPipe WARP, MPVPN, XTREME and other rack appliances can develop no-power, intermittent shutdown, or unstable-boot symptoms as their internal power supplies age. Complete PSU failure takes the appliance offline unless a redundant or fail-open architecture is available.

Cooling Fan Failure / Overheating

Chassis or CPU cooling fans can wear out, slow down, or stop, causing elevated internal temperature and potentially unstable operation or shutdown. FatPipe specifically monitors fan speed and temperature as device-health indicators.

Flash Storage Failure

Older FatPipe appliances use flash storage for the operating system and configuration, making worn or corrupted flash media a significant failure point. FatPipe historically required replacement flash cards on certain generations when migrating to newer operating-system and filesystem releases.

Motherboard Reboot Hang

FatPipe appliances using the ASUS P10S-C/4L motherboard can hang during reboot when running BIOS versions earlier than 3104. The appliance may require a physical power cycle and BIOS update before reliable reboot operation is restored.

Unexpected Reboot / Kernel Panic

A FatPipe appliance may unexpectedly restart when the operating system encounters a kernel panic or related low-level system fault. FatPipe identifies spontaneous rebooting as a support condition commonly investigated through firmware/version checks and system diagnostics.

Ethernet NIC / Port Failure

LAN, WAN, 10GbE, and dedicated failover interfaces can develop failed links, excessive Ethernet errors, or intermittent connectivity because of NIC or physical-port faults. Because FatPipe appliances depend on multiple network interfaces for WAN aggregation and failover, a defective interface can disable a carrier path or prevent normal traffic flow.

High-Availability Heartbeat Failure

HA-equipped FatPipe appliances can lose communication between primary and standby units when the dedicated heartbeat interface, NIC, cable, or associated hardware fails. Loss of reliable heartbeat communication can prevent proper standby coordination or cause incorrect failover behavior.

Fail-Open Interface Failure

FatPipe appliances equipped with fail-open NICs depend on relay/bypass hardware to electrically bridge WAN and LAN paths when the appliance loses power. Failure of the bypass NIC or relay circuitry can prevent traffic from passing during an appliance outage, defeating the intended hardware-bypass function.

Aging Motherboard / Appliance Hardware

Older FatPipe hardware can develop general motherboard, controller, memory, or platform failures that lead to boot failure, lockups, instability, or complete loss of operation. FatPipe has historically maintained hardware replacement programs and specified finite hardware lifecycle periods for older appliance generations.

Connect with a technician.

  1. 1 Repairs are performed on a best-effort basis. Acme Revival utilizes a network of sophisticated technicians and engineers with diverse service offerings; despite this, factors that influence the repair outcome may ultimately prove unsuccessful. Acme Revival makes no claim that it can, guarantee a repair before your device is sent in for diagnostic evaluation; even then, repair and diagnostic work are not mutually exclusive. Despite well-intentioned quoting, repairs may still prove unsuccessful.
