Falmec repair, service, and parts

Acme Revival is an independent repair network that operates separately from the manufacturers whose devices we service. Our independence enables a repair model that exists beyond manufacturer-controlled strategies, while preserving the ability to work with manufacturers where appropriate.

Falmec S.p.A. is an Italian manufacturer specializing in premium residential kitchen ventilation and air-treatment products. Founded in 1981, the company is particularly known for designer range hoods, extractor systems, downdraft and integrated ventilation solutions, air-purifying products, and newer multifunctional kitchen systems that combine extraction with furniture and cooking-area design. Falmec emphasizes vertically integrated Italian manufacturing, stainless-steel fabrication, acoustic reduction technologies such as its NRS systems, advanced filtration, and high-end industrial design. Its products are positioned largely in the premium kitchen and architectural appliance market and are distributed internationally while production remains centered in Vittorio Veneto.

2 Most Seen Failures:

Blower Motor / Run Capacitor Failure

The extraction fan may hum, start intermittently, run slowly, or fail to turn even though the hood controls and lighting still operate. Aging motor capacitors are a frequent cause, while worn or seized blower motors can produce similar symptoms.

Electronic Control Board / Touch Panel Failure

The hood may become completely unresponsive, refuse speed commands, or operate erratically because of a failed control PCB, touch interface, relay, or low-voltage power supply. Falmec documentation specifically advises power-cycling an inactive control panel before service.

LED Lighting / Driver Failure

Hood lighting may flicker, become dim, or stop working while the extraction motor continues to function normally. Common causes include failed LED modules, electronic LED drivers or transformers, damaged wiring, and control-switch faults.

Reduced Extraction From Clogged Filters or Airflow Restriction

Suction performance can fall substantially as grease filters become saturated or the exhaust path becomes restricted. Falmec hoods include filter-maintenance alarms because filter loading is a recurring operating issue across the product range.

Remote Control / RF Receiver Failure

Remote-equipped hoods may stop responding even after batteries are replaced because of lost pairing, battery-contact corrosion, transmitter faults, RF interference, or a defective hood receiver. In some cases the hood remains fully operable from its local controls.

Excessive Motor Noise / Vibration

Blower assemblies can develop buzzing, rattling, vibration, or unusually high operating noise, particularly as fan speed increases. Likely causes include blower imbalance, loose mounting hardware, worn motor bearings, fan-wheel contamination, or deteriorated motor components.

Induction Power Module Failure

Falmec induction hobs can display internal-module errors, lose one or more cooking zones, or stop heating because of failed power electronics such as the induction generator or IGBT circuitry. Falmec service documentation identifies multiple conditions that require replacement of the affected induction module.

Induction Cooling Fan / Overtemperature Failure

A failed or obstructed internal cooling fan can cause overheating, error codes, power reduction, or automatic shutdown of an induction hob. Falmec specifically lists cooling-fan failure and excessive internal temperature among the hob's diagnostic conditions.

Temperature Sensor / Internal Communication Failure

Falmec induction models may report faults when an inductor temperature probe, user-interface connection, LIN communication path, wiring harness, or related electronics fail. Symptoms include error codes, disabled cooking zones, intermittent operation, or loss of communication between the keyboard and induction generator.

Connect with a technician.

  1. 1 Repairs are performed on a best-effort basis. Acme Revival utilizes a network of sophisticated technicians and engineers with diverse service offerings; despite this, factors that influence the repair outcome may ultimately prove unsuccessful. Acme Revival makes no claim that it can, guarantee a repair before your device is sent in for diagnostic evaluation; even then, repair and diagnostic work are not mutually exclusive. Despite well-intentioned quoting, repairs may still prove unsuccessful.
