Epson repair, service, and parts

Acme Revival is an independent repair network that operates separately from the manufacturers whose devices we service. Our independence enables a repair model that exists beyond manufacturer-controlled strategies, while preserving the ability to work with manufacturers where appropriate.

Epson is a Japanese global electronics and precision-technology OEM best known for its printing and imaging products, particularly inkjet printers and printing systems. The company develops and manufactures consumer and business inkjet printers, commercial and industrial printing systems, printheads, scanners, 3LCD projectors, POS printers, industrial robots, semiconductor and crystal devices, watches and watch movements, and other precision electronic products. Epson’s technology base centers on what it describes as efficient, compact, and precision technologies, with inkjet technology forming a particularly important part of its product portfolio. Beyond home and office printing, Epson serves commercial printing, manufacturing automation, visual communications, wearable, and electronic-device markets.

2 Most Seen Failures:

[Clogged or Failed Printhead / Nozzles]

Printhead nozzles become clogged or fail to fire correctly, producing missing colors, white lines, banding, faded output, or blank sections. The problem is especially associated with inkjet models after extended periods of little or no use.

[Paper Feed / Pickup Roller Failure]

Worn, contaminated, or slipping pickup and feed rollers cause paper to fail to load, feed intermittently, skew, or pull multiple sheets at once. Continued roller wear can eventually require replacement of the roller or maintenance assembly.

[Paper Jams]

Paper becomes trapped in the feed path, duplexer, rear feeder, or internal mechanism, stopping printing and generating a jam error. Worn rollers, unsuitable or curled media, debris, incorrect loading, and fragments from previous jams can cause repeated failures.

[Ink Delivery / Cartridge Recognition Failure]

The printer cannot correctly detect or deliver ink from a cartridge, ink pack, or tank system, resulting in ink errors, missing colors, or inability to print. Causes can include cartridge/contact problems, depleted ink, interrupted ink flow, or faults within the ink-delivery system.

[Printhead Alignment / Banding Failure]

Prints develop horizontal or vertical bands, doubled edges, blurred characters, or inconsistent alignment. Printhead misalignment, bidirectional printing errors, nozzle problems, and paper-path issues are common contributors.

[Scanner ADF / Roller Feed Failure]

Scanner and multifunction-printer document feeders begin misfeeding, double-feeding, skewing, or jamming originals as pickup and separation rollers become dirty or worn. Heavily used units may require replacement of the roller assembly kit.

[Scanner Glass / Optical Image Defects]

Dust, contamination, scratches, or deterioration around scanner glass and optical surfaces produces persistent vertical lines, dots, streaks, or other artifacts in scanned images. Defects that remain after cleaning can indicate damaged glass or an optical hardware problem.

[Projector Overheating / Cooling Failure]

Projectors overheat or shut down when airflow is restricted or the cooling system cannot maintain a safe operating temperature. Clogged filters or vents and failing fans or temperature sensors can trigger warning indicators and automatic shutdown.

[Projector Lamp / Light-Source Failure]

The projector produces no image, reduced brightness, intermittent illumination, or a lamp/light-source warning when its illumination system reaches end of life or develops a fault. Lamp-based models may suffer burned-out or damaged lamps, while other models can develop light-source or associated power-system faults.

1 Acme Revival offers repair, service, and part rebuild opportunities for most Epson devices.

Connect with a technician.

  1. 1 Repairs are performed on a best-effort basis. Acme Revival utilizes a network of sophisticated technicians and engineers with diverse service offerings; despite this, factors that influence the repair outcome may ultimately prove unsuccessful. Acme Revival makes no claim that it can, guarantee a repair before your device is sent in for diagnostic evaluation; even then, repair and diagnostic work are not mutually exclusive. Despite well-intentioned quoting, repairs may still prove unsuccessful.
  2. 2 Per information known, researched and collected by Acme Revival and its systems at time of page publishing (September 9, 2026).
