EPOS repair, service, and parts

Acme Revival is an independent repair network that operates separately from the manufacturers whose devices we service. Our independence enables a repair model that exists beyond manufacturer-controlled strategies, while preserving the ability to work with manufacturers where appropriate.

2 Most Seen Failures:

No Audio or Intermittent Audio

The headset produces no sound, loses audio intermittently, or experiences dropouts during use. The fault may appear on one or both audio channels and can be associated with the headset connection, dongle, cable, or internal audio path.

Microphone Failure

The microphone stops capturing speech, produces little or no microphone output, or operates intermittently. On models with a boom microphone, the mute or boom mechanism may also fail to restore microphone operation correctly.

Wireless Connection or Pairing Failure

The headset fails to pair, repeatedly disconnects, or cannot maintain a stable Bluetooth or proprietary wireless connection. Previously paired devices or the supplied wireless dongle may also stop reconnecting reliably.

Battery or Charging Failure

The headset does not charge, will not power on from the battery, or exhibits significantly reduced usable battery operation. Charging may fail through the cable, USB connection, charging contacts, or charging stand depending on the model.

USB or Wireless Dongle Detection Failure

The computer or headset fails to recognize the USB interface or wireless dongle, preventing audio or communication. The device may disappear from available playback and recording devices or stop responding until it is disconnected or reset.

Cable, Connector, or Contact Failure

Audio, microphone, or connectivity becomes intermittent or completely unavailable because of a poor connection at a detachable cable, headset socket, USB connector, or charging contact. Movement of the cable or connector may cause the fault to appear and disappear.

Firmware or Device-State Failure

The headset or dongle behaves incorrectly after a firmware, configuration, or internal device-state problem. Symptoms can include lost audio, failed connectivity, abnormal controls, or a device that requires a reset or firmware recovery before functioning again.

Unresponsive Buttons or Controls

Headset or dongle buttons, switches, volume controls, or other hardware controls stop responding to user input. In some cases the entire device appears frozen even though it remains powered.

ANC or Noise-Control Failure

Active Noise Cancellation or related noise-control functionality fails to activate or operate as expected on equipped models. The problem may accompany power, battery, firmware, control, or headset-state faults.

Connect with a technician.

  1. 1 Repairs are performed on a best-effort basis. Acme Revival utilizes a network of sophisticated technicians and engineers with diverse service offerings; despite this, factors that influence the repair outcome may ultimately prove unsuccessful. Acme Revival makes no claim that it can, guarantee a repair before your device is sent in for diagnostic evaluation; even then, repair and diagnostic work are not mutually exclusive. Despite well-intentioned quoting, repairs may still prove unsuccessful.
