Edifier Technology repair, service, and parts

Acme Revival is an independent repair network that operates separately from the manufacturers whose devices we service. Our independence enables a repair model that exists beyond manufacturer-controlled strategies, while preserving the ability to work with manufacturers where appropriate.

Edifier Technology Co., Ltd. (EDIFIER / 漫步者) is a Chinese audio-electronics OEM and consumer brand founded in 1996. The company develops and manufactures powered and multimedia speakers, bookshelf and home-audio systems, Bluetooth and wireless speakers, headphones and true-wireless earbuds, gaming headsets, microphones, professional audio products, and automotive audio equipment. Edifier integrates product design, acoustic/electroacoustic engineering, electronics development, and large-scale manufacturing, with its Dongguan Songshan Lake complex serving as its principal production center. The company sells internationally across more than 80 countries and regions and operates several audio brands, including EDIFIER, AIRPULSE, HECATE, and STAX, the Japanese electrostatic-headphone manufacturer it acquired in 2012. Edifier is particularly known for its powered desktop/bookshelf speakers and increasingly broad wireless headphone and earbud portfolio.

2 Most Seen Failures:

No Power / Failure to Turn On

Powered Edifier speakers and subwoofers may become completely unresponsive due to power-supply, internal amplifier-board, switch, or power-input failures. This is a recurring troubleshooting category across models including the R1280DB/DBs, R1855DB, R2000DB, and R2850DB.

Bluetooth Pairing Failure

Speakers, headphones, and earbuds may stop entering pairing mode, fail to appear in Bluetooth device lists, or refuse to reconnect to previously paired devices. Persistent cases after resets can indicate Bluetooth module, firmware, or control-board faults.

No Audio Output

The device powers on normally but produces no sound from Bluetooth, analog, optical, USB, or other inputs. Beyond incorrect input or cabling, hardware causes can include amplifier-stage, DSP/control-board, connector, or speaker-driver failures.

One Speaker / One Earbud Not Working

Stereo speaker systems can lose an entire left or right channel, while TWS earbuds may operate with only one side producing audio. Common hardware-related causes include interconnect faults, failed amplification channels, damaged drivers, charging problems, or loss of synchronization between earbuds.

Intermittent Bluetooth / Audio Dropouts

Wireless audio may repeatedly disconnect, stutter, cut out, or require reconnection. Interference can cause similar symptoms, but persistent device-specific failures can involve the Bluetooth radio, antenna, firmware, or main control electronics.

Distortion / Buzzing / Crackling

Edifier speakers may develop audible buzzing, crackling, rattling, or distorted playback that persists across known-good audio sources. Likely hardware faults include deteriorated drivers, loose components, amplifier circuitry, power-supply noise, or damaged internal connections.

Battery / Charging Failure

Wireless headphones, earbuds, and portable Edifier products may stop charging, discharge unusually quickly, fail to power on after charging, or show abnormal charging indicators. Typical hardware causes include degraded lithium cells, charging-case contacts, USB charging ports, battery-management circuitry, or internal battery connections.

TWS Earbud Synchronization Failure

Edifier true-wireless earbuds can lose their left-to-right pairing, causing one earbud to operate independently or disappear from the stereo pair. Factory re-pairing can restore synchronization, but persistent recurrence can indicate firmware, radio, charging, or earbud-control faults.

Control / Remote / Button Failure

Volume knobs, input selectors, remotes, touch controls, and multifunction buttons can become intermittent or stop responding. Hardware failures commonly involve worn switches or encoders, remote receivers, touch sensors, button contacts, or the associated control-board circuitry.

Connect with a technician.

  1. 1 Repairs are performed on a best-effort basis. Acme Revival utilizes a network of sophisticated technicians and engineers with diverse service offerings; despite this, factors that influence the repair outcome may ultimately prove unsuccessful. Acme Revival makes no claim that it can, guarantee a repair before your device is sent in for diagnostic evaluation; even then, repair and diagnostic work are not mutually exclusive. Despite well-intentioned quoting, repairs may still prove unsuccessful.
