edelkrone repair, service, and parts

Acme Revival is an independent repair network that operates separately from the manufacturers whose devices we service. Our independence enables a repair model that exists beyond manufacturer-controlled strategies, while preserving the ability to work with manufacturers where appropriate.

edelkrone is a Turkish manufacturer of professional filmmaking and content-creation equipment, founded in 2008 and based around its design and manufacturing operations in Ankara, Türkiye. The company specializes in compact, highly engineered camera motion-control and support systems, including motorized camera sliders, dollies, jibs, robotic pan/tilt heads, motorized tripods, camera stands, focus/zoom systems, controllers, and modular filmmaking rigs. Its products are particularly known for combining portability with programmable, repeatable multi-axis camera movement and for operating as an interconnected ecosystem through the edelkrone app. Current flagship product families include SliderONE/SliderPLUS, HeadONE/HeadPLUS, JibONE/JibPLUS, DollyONE/DollyPLUS, and Tripod X, with systems capable of automated tracking, time-lapse, product cinematography, and complex robotic camera moves.

2 Most Seen Failures:

Wireless Connection / Device Disconnect Failure

Motorized Edelkrone devices may repeatedly disconnect from the app or lose communication with other modules during operation. HeadPLUS, Motor/Slide Module, HeadONE, JibONE and multi-device configurations are commonly implicated, sometimes interrupting or stopping programmed moves.

Jerky, Shaky or Uneven Motion

Sliders and motorized heads may develop vibration, microsurging, speed fluctuations or visibly uneven movement instead of maintaining a smooth constant motion. Reports particularly involve SliderPLUS with Motor/Slide Modules and HeadPLUS configurations.

Motor Movement / "Failed to Move" Failure

Motor modules may refuse to move, stop partway through a programmed move or generate a motion-failure error. Causes can include motor/tension problems, excessive mechanical resistance, calibration issues or firmware/control faults.

Excessive Motor or Gear Noise

Head, slider, focus and jib motors can develop unusually loud whining, grinding, clicking or cranking noises during movement. The symptom may accompany excessive mechanical load, drivetrain problems, vibration or deteriorating gears.

Calibration / Positioning Failure

HeadPLUS, HeadONE, Focus/Zoom and other motion modules may fail to calibrate correctly or lose accurate positional references. This can result in incorrect endpoints, repeated calibration attempts, inaccurate key poses or movements that do not return precisely to their programmed positions.

Focus / Zoom Module Jitter or Tracking Failure

Focus and Zoom Modules may jitter, behave erratically or fail to follow programmed focus points smoothly. Lens calibration and tracking can also fail or behave incorrectly, particularly with incompatible focus-by-wire lenses or problematic software/firmware states.

Mechanical Play / Loose Motion Hardware

Sliders, heads and associated motion mechanisms can develop looseness, worn gears, slipping clutches or excessive play that compromises positioning accuracy. Users have reported loose hardware and drivetrain wear producing vibration, inability to hold position or difficulty removing mounted components.

Jib Motion / Tracking Failure

JibONE and JibPLUS systems may exhibit jerky compensation, tracking inaccuracies, slow response or difficulty completing complex synchronized moves. Problems become particularly apparent when the jib is paired with a motorized head and the system must coordinate several axes simultaneously.

Multi-Axis Synchronization / Position Drift

Combined SliderPLUS, HeadPLUS, HeadONE, Jib and Focus/Zoom configurations can lose synchronization or allow the tracked subject/target point to drift during a programmed move. The result can be framing errors, tracking-point shifts or different axes reaching their intended positions at different times.

Connect with a technician.

  1. 1 Repairs are performed on a best-effort basis. Acme Revival utilizes a network of sophisticated technicians and engineers with diverse service offerings; despite this, factors that influence the repair outcome may ultimately prove unsuccessful. Acme Revival makes no claim that it can, guarantee a repair before your device is sent in for diagnostic evaluation; even then, repair and diagnostic work are not mutually exclusive. Despite well-intentioned quoting, repairs may still prove unsuccessful.
