Echelon repair, service, and parts

Acme Revival is an independent repair network that operates separately from the manufacturers whose devices we service. Our independence enables a repair model that exists beyond manufacturer-controlled strategies, while preserving the ability to work with manufacturers where appropriate.

Connected Fitness Equipment
End Use Segment

Echelon Fitness Multimedia, LLC is a connected-fitness equipment and digital fitness company best known for its Echelon Connect smart exercise bikes and subscription-based live and on-demand workout platform. Its hardware portfolio has expanded substantially beyond bikes to include smart treadmills, rowers, ellipticals, Reflect interactive fitness mirrors, connected strength-training systems, Pilates equipment, recovery products, cold plunges, saunas, and commercial gym equipment. The company's model combines internet-connected exercise hardware with displays, apps, instructor-led classes, AI-assisted fitness plans, and subscription content for both home and commercial users. Echelon is headquartered in Chattanooga, Tennessee, but available regulatory documents, product labels, and current import records indicate that much of its physical hardware is manufactured through contract suppliers in China, rather than at the Tennessee headquarter

2 Most Seen Failures:

Resistance Control Failure

Resistance no longer increases or decreases correctly despite the displayed resistance level changing. Common fault areas include the resistance motor/controller, encoder wheel, motor arm, wiring, or calibration system, particularly on Connect EX-series bikes and Echelon Row models.

Bluetooth / Equipment Connectivity Failure

The bike, treadmill, or rower intermittently disconnects or completely fails to pair with the mounted tablet or Echelon Fit app. Problems are commonly associated with the Bluetooth module, equipment controller, data connection, firmware, or communication between the console and machine.

Speed / Cadence Sensor Failure

Cadence, speed, distance, calories, and output remain at zero even though resistance information may still appear normally. Echelon identifies the speed sensor and related electronics as a likely hardware fault when firmware troubleshooting does not restore the metrics.

Touchscreen / Console Failure

Mounted displays may fail to boot correctly, repeatedly restart, freeze, lose communication with the equipment, or stop responding to touch. Failures can originate in the tablet itself, its power supply, data connection, or communication hardware between the screen and equipment.

Intermittent Power / No-Power Failure

Equipment may shut off unexpectedly, power-cycle, or fail to power on at all. Common hardware causes include defective AC adapters, DC power ports, loose internal connections, power wiring, switches, and controller electronics.

Pedal / Crank Mechanical Failure

Pedals can loosen, click, bind, develop excessive play, or damage the crank-arm threads, while some bikes develop drivetrain resistance severe enough that the pedals will not rotate normally. Echelon specifically recommends frequent pedal inspection and tightening due to these issues.

Drive Belt / Drivetrain Noise

Connect bikes can develop clicking, knocking, rubbing, or other abnormal noises from loose hardware, pedals, crank components, or the internal drive system. Belt wear, alignment problems, and loose fasteners can progressively cause noisy or rough operation.

Treadmill Belt Stopping / Slipping

Echelon Stride treadmills may unexpectedly stop during operation or develop a running belt that slips, drifts, or fails to maintain normal motion under load. Belt tension/alignment, lubrication, drive components, motor electronics, or the controller board can be responsible.

Rower Resistance Controller Failure

Echelon Row machines may stop changing resistance or report incorrect resistance despite otherwise operating normally. Echelon specifically identifies the resistance controller, its CR2032 battery, Bluetooth pairing, and on some Row Sport units a detached resistance slider as common fault points.

1 Acme Revival offers repair, service, and part rebuild opportunities for most Echelon devices.

Connect with a technician.

  1. 1 Repairs are performed on a best-effort basis. Acme Revival utilizes a network of sophisticated technicians and engineers with diverse service offerings; despite this, factors that influence the repair outcome may ultimately prove unsuccessful. Acme Revival makes no claim that it can, guarantee a repair before your device is sent in for diagnostic evaluation; even then, repair and diagnostic work are not mutually exclusive. Despite well-intentioned quoting, repairs may still prove unsuccessful.
