DJ Tech repair, service, and parts

Acme Revival is an independent repair network that operates separately from the manufacturers whose devices we service. Our independence enables a repair model that exists beyond manufacturer-controlled strategies, while preserving the ability to work with manufacturers where appropriate.

Professional DJ Audio
End Use Segment

DJ-Tech Professional is a professional-audio and DJ-equipment brand developed by First Audio Manufacturing, a Hong Kong-origin audio manufacturer with large-scale production operations in Guangzhou. The DJ-Tech range has included DJ mixers, turntables, USB/MIDI DJ controllers, amplifiers, powered and passive loudspeakers, portable PA systems, MP3/CD playback and encoding products, audio processors, microphones, headphones, and related professional sound equipment. First Audio explicitly identifies DJ Tech as one of its brands, while trademark records connect DJ-TECH and DJ-TECH PROFESSIONAL to First Audio entities. The broader manufacturer operates as both an OEM/ODM supplier and an own-brand audio producer, exporting equipment internationally. LinkedIn Independent product evidence also confirms DJ-Tech hardware marked Made in China, consistent with the Guangzhou manufacturing operation.

2 Most Seen Failures:

Fader / Crossfader Failure

Channel faders and crossfaders develop erratic response, dead spots, signal dropouts, or fail to fully cut between channels. Wear or contamination of the fader assembly is especially relevant on heavily used DJ-Tech mixers, with replacement line faders sold for models such as the DIF series.

USB / Computer Connection Failure

DJ-Tech controllers and USB-equipped mixers may power up but fail to enumerate or communicate reliably with the computer. Faults can originate from damaged USB connectors, solder joints, interface circuitry, firmware/driver issues, or unstable USB power.

Buttons and Controls Malfunctioning

Transport, SYNC, cue, effect, and other control buttons can become intermittent, stick, or generate unintended commands. Encoders, switches, and associated PCB contacts can similarly become unreliable after extensive operation.

No Power / Intermittent Power

Units may remain completely dead, power intermittently, or illuminate indicators without completing normal startup. Typical hardware causes include failed power-input connectors, regulators, capacitors, power-supply components, or damaged PCB connections.

Audio Output / Missing Channel Failure

Mixers can lose the master output, headphone output, or one side/channel of the audio path despite otherwise appearing operational. Common repair targets include output connectors, switching contacts, op-amp circuitry, solder joints, and analog signal-path components.

Crackling Pots / Noisy Controls

Gain, EQ, filter, volume, and other rotary controls can produce crackling, abrupt level changes, or intermittent audio when adjusted. Worn or contaminated potentiometers and deteriorated solder connections are typical causes.

Audio Distortion / Glitching

DJ-Tech mixers and USB audio products can develop persistent distortion, popping, glitches, or unstable audio during operation. Depending on the model, the cause may lie in analog gain stages, the internal audio interface, power circuitry, USB communication, or deteriorating components.

Connection Jack / Port Damage

RCA, headphone, microphone, USB, power, and other connectors can loosen, physically break, or lose electrical continuity. Repeated cable insertion and mechanical stress can fracture connector bodies or PCB solder joints and cause intermittent or complete signal loss.

Turntable Playback / Speed Failure

DJ-Tech turntables can experience failure to rotate, incorrect or unstable platter speed, distorted playback, loss of one audio channel, or pickup/arm-related problems. Likely repair areas include the drive electronics, speed-control circuitry, RCA connections, cartridge/stylus path, and tonearm mechanism.

Connect with a technician.

  1. 1 Repairs are performed on a best-effort basis. Acme Revival utilizes a network of sophisticated technicians and engineers with diverse service offerings; despite this, factors that influence the repair outcome may ultimately prove unsuccessful. Acme Revival makes no claim that it can, guarantee a repair before your device is sent in for diagnostic evaluation; even then, repair and diagnostic work are not mutually exclusive. Despite well-intentioned quoting, repairs may still prove unsuccessful.
