Darkglass Electronics is a Finnish professional musical-audio equipment manufacturer best known for premium electronics designed specifically for electric bass players. Its product portfolio centers on bass distortion, overdrive, preamp and compressor pedals, along with bass amplifiers, cabinets, combo amplifiers and digitally controlled signal-processing products. The company has developed a strong identity around modern high-gain bass tones and sophisticated analog/digital signal processing while retaining much of its electronics manufacturing in Finland; selected cabinet and combo products involving woodworking are assembled in China. Darkglass operates from Helsinki and has become an internationally distributed specialist brand in the bass amplification and effects market.
