CUCKOO repair, service, and parts

Acme Revival is an independent repair network that operates separately from the manufacturers whose devices we service. Our independence enables a repair model that exists beyond manufacturer-controlled strategies, while preserving the ability to work with manufacturers where appropriate.

CUCKOO is a South Korean home-appliance manufacturer founded in 1978 and best known for its electric and pressure rice cookers, particularly induction-heating (IH) pressure models. Rice cookers remain its core manufacturing business: CUCKOO's regulatory filing identifies IH pressure, heating-plate pressure, and conventional electric rice cookers as its major product categories, while the company estimates that it holds roughly 70% of South Korea's electric rice-cooker market. KIND Over time, CUCKOO has expanded into a broader appliance portfolio that includes multi-cookers, induction ranges, water purifiers, air purifiers, humidifiers, microwaves, dishwashers, blenders, food-waste processors, and other kitchen and household appliances. Cuckoo Its manufacturing footprint includes three plants in South Korea, while affiliated manufacturing entities also operate in China; CUCKOO-branded appliances are sold internationally across North America, Asia, Europe, and other markets.

2 Most Seen Failures:

Temperature Sensor Failure

Thermistors and temperature-sensor wiring can fail, drift out of range, or develop intermittent connections, causing E_P, E_t, E01-type faults, aborted cooking, incorrect heating, or failure to start. Lid-mounted sensor wiring is particularly vulnerable to repeated flexing around the hinge.

Pressure Lid / Smart Lock Failure

Pressure-cooker models can develop defective lid-lock switches, smart-lock mechanisms, connectors, or position-detection components. The cooker may refuse to begin pressure cooking, report a lock error, or fail to recognize that the lid is correctly secured.

Steam Valve / Pressure Seal Failure

Worn sealing gaskets, contaminated or sticking pressure valves, and deteriorated steam-release components can prevent the cooker from building or retaining pressure. Typical symptoms include continuous steam leakage, unusually long cooking cycles, undercooked rice, or failure to complete pressure cooking.

Heating Element / Induction Heating Failure

Heating plates, induction-heating circuitry, thermal protection components, or their power connections can fail and leave the cooker unable to heat normally. Symptoms range from weak or uneven cooking to complete loss of heating or an IH/power abnormality indication.

Control PCB / Power Supply Failure

Failures in the main PCB, SMPS power supply, relays, connectors, or associated control electronics can cause dead units, intermittent operation, display problems, memory errors, or failure to energize heaters and other loads. CUCKOO service documentation frequently uses PCB replacement as the next diagnostic step after sensors and loads test correctly.

Cooling Fan Motor Failure

Induction-heating rice cookers use an internal cooling fan whose motor, wiring, or connector can fail. CUCKOO identifies fan-motor malfunction as an E_F-type fault, and affected cookers may stop operation to protect their power electronics from overheating.

Water Leakage / Internal Fitting Failure

CUCKOO water purifiers can leak from tubing, fittings, valves, tanks, or connecting joints as seals and connections deteriorate. Leak-sensor activation can subsequently shut down operation and generate a water-leak error.

Water Inlet Valve / Pump Failure

Purifiers can stop filling or dispensing when an inlet solenoid valve, drain pump, booster pump, or associated drive circuit fails. Symptoms include no water, weak flow, incomplete tank filling, drainage errors, or repeated water-supply faults.

Water-Level / Flow Sensor Failure

Level sensors, flow-detection components, and their wiring can become defective and prevent a purifier from correctly detecting tank level or water movement. This can produce no-fill conditions, erroneous drainage or sterilization faults, interrupted dispensing, or unnecessary shutdowns.

  1. 1 Repairs are performed on a best-effort basis. Acme Revival utilizes a network of sophisticated technicians and engineers with diverse service offerings; despite this, factors that influence the repair outcome may ultimately prove unsuccessful. Acme Revival makes no claim that it can, guarantee a repair before your device is sent in for diagnostic evaluation; even then, repair and diagnostic work are not mutually exclusive. Despite well-intentioned quoting, repairs may still prove unsuccessful.
