Club 3D repair, service, and parts

Acme Revival is an independent repair network that operates separately from the manufacturers whose devices we service. Our independence enables a repair model that exists beyond manufacturer-controlled strategies, while preserving the ability to work with manufacturers where appropriate.

Club 3D B.V. is a Dutch computer and consumer-electronics connectivity company founded in 1997. Historically, it was particularly known for graphics cards, but it exited graphics-card manufacturing in 2016 and shifted its focus toward connectivity hardware. Today its portfolio centers on USB-C, DisplayPort and HDMI cables and adapters, docking stations, hubs, chargers, video splitters/MST hubs and related computer peripherals, serving both professional and consumer applications. Its products are primarily designed to connect computers and mobile devices to displays, peripherals, networks and power sources, with particular emphasis on high-resolution display connectivity and multi-monitor applications. Club 3D handles its brand, product portfolio and distribution from the Netherlands while its product documentation indicates that the physical hardware is predominantly manufactured in China.

2 Most Seen Failures:

Intermittent Black Screen / Signal Dropout

Displays intermittently go black, lose signal, or reconnect when using Club 3D video adapters and docks. Reports are especially common at high resolutions or refresh rates and during resolution/full-screen mode changes.

No Video Output / Monitor Not Detected

The connected monitor produces "No Signal" or is not recognized even though other dock functions or the same display connected directly to the computer work. USB-C DisplayPort Alt Mode compatibility, firmware, bandwidth, and adapter/display combinations frequently appear as contributing factors.

Display Flickering / Repeated Reconnection

Connected displays may flash, blink, or repeatedly disconnect and reconnect. Reports involving CSV docks and CAC adapters associate this behavior with signal bandwidth, firmware, cables, and host/display compatibility.

Incorrect or Missing Resolution

Some adapters fail to expose the display's native resolution, fall back to a low resolution, or produce a black/glitched screen when higher resolutions are selected. EDID detection or translation is a recurring factor in reported cases.

High Refresh Rate Failure

A display works at 60 Hz but becomes unstable, loses signal, or cannot select advertised higher refresh rates such as 120 Hz or 144 Hz. The problem is frequently reported with active DisplayPort-to-HDMI/DVI adapters and can depend on GPU firmware, bandwidth, display configuration, and adapter compatibility.

USB Peripheral Recognition Failure

USB keyboards, mice, storage devices, or the dock itself may stop being recognized, particularly after disconnecting and reconnecting a Club 3D dock. Some reports describe USB devices receiving power while failing to enumerate or operate.

Ethernet Adapter Not Detected / No Network

Ethernet interfaces on Club 3D hubs and adapters can fail to appear or establish a network connection even when other hub ports work. Reports include interfaces requiring reconnection after boot and host-port or driver-dependent recognition problems.

Sleep / Wake and Cold-Boot Display Failure

Displays connected through certain Club 3D adapters may remain black after the computer wakes from sleep or starts from a cold boot. Users report having to unplug/reconnect the adapter, power-cycle the display, or reboot the computer to restore video.

HDCP / Audio Compatibility Failure

Some Club 3D adapters exhibit black screens or image corruption when protected streaming content is played, while others expose lower audio sample rates or experience audio dropouts. These failures are typically associated with HDCP negotiation, HDMI signal handling, firmware, or source/display compatibility.

Connect with a technician.

  1. 1 Repairs are performed on a best-effort basis. Acme Revival utilizes a network of sophisticated technicians and engineers with diverse service offerings; despite this, factors that influence the repair outcome may ultimately prove unsuccessful. Acme Revival makes no claim that it can, guarantee a repair before your device is sent in for diagnostic evaluation; even then, repair and diagnostic work are not mutually exclusive. Despite well-intentioned quoting, repairs may still prove unsuccessful.
