Cassida repair, service, and parts

Acme Revival is an independent repair network that operates separately from the manufacturers whose devices we service. Our independence enables a repair model that exists beyond manufacturer-controlled strategies, while preserving the ability to work with manufacturers where appropriate.

Cassida Corporation is a manufacturer and developer of cash automation and currency-processing equipment used by businesses that regularly handle physical money. Its product portfolio includes bill/currency counters, mixed-denomination currency counters and sorters, coin counters and sorters, coin wrapping equipment, counterfeit currency detectors, and higher-end bill discriminators. Cassida states that it has developed currency-handling solutions since 1998, with products designed for multiple currencies and business environments. The company emphasizes automated counting, denomination recognition, sorting, counterfeit detection, and improving the speed and accuracy of cash-processing operations. Its equipment is designed by Cassida in the United States while available product documentation consistently identifies the machines as manufactured in China.

2 Most Seen Failures:

Dirty / Failed Counting Sensors

Dust, currency fibers, and debris accumulate on optical counting sensors, causing inaccurate counts, E1-E8 errors, missed bills or coins, and intermittent operation. Persistent errors after cleaning can indicate a deteriorated or failed sensor.

Bill Feed Jamming

Bills become stuck in the transport mechanism because of worn or folded currency, foreign objects, contamination, or incorrect feed-gap adjustment. Jamming is commonly reported across Cassida 5520, 6600, 8800R, 9900R, and related currency counters.

Incorrect / Inconsistent Counting

Machines may undercount, overcount, or produce inconsistent totals when feed rollers wear, sensors become contaminated, bills are loaded incorrectly, or the feed gap drifts out of adjustment. Mechanical wear in the feeding system becomes increasingly important on heavily used units.

Hopper / Stacker Sensor Errors

Hopper and stacker sensors frequently produce errors when covered by dust, currency debris, or foreign objects. A defective or electrically unstable sensor can prevent startup, self-check completion, or normal feeding even after cleaning.

Feed Gap / Double-Feed Failure

An incorrectly adjusted or mechanically drifting feed gap allows multiple bills to enter simultaneously or prevents bills from feeding reliably. Typical symptoms include DOUBLE NOTE, CHAIN NOTE, repeated jams, miscounts, and inconsistent bill pickup.

False Counterfeit Detection

Cassida currency counters can repeatedly flag legitimate notes as suspicious when UV, MG, IR, or imaging sensors become contaminated or when worn currency no longer produces the expected detection response. Sensor degradation or calibration problems can cause persistent false-positive detection.

Coin Platter / Paddle Drive Failure

Cassida C100, C200, and C300 coin machines can stop processing coins when the platter or paddle drive fails to rotate properly. Debris, coin obstructions, dirty run sensors, or drive-system problems commonly produce an E9 condition.

Motor / Belt / Transport Drive Failure

Currency counters can stop feeding bills when the main motor, drive belt, rollers, or associated motor-sensing system develops a fault. Symptoms include MOTOR SENSOR errors, stalled rollers, abnormal transport behavior, repeated jams, or complete failure to count.

Power / No-Start Failure

Cassida counters may fail to power up because of power-supply problems, damaged fuses, loose connections, DC converter faults, or internal electrical failures. Units that receive power but cannot complete their startup self-check may instead have blocked sensors or control-system faults.

Connect with a technician.

  1. 1 Repairs are performed on a best-effort basis. Acme Revival utilizes a network of sophisticated technicians and engineers with diverse service offerings; despite this, factors that influence the repair outcome may ultimately prove unsuccessful. Acme Revival makes no claim that it can, guarantee a repair before your device is sent in for diagnostic evaluation; even then, repair and diagnostic work are not mutually exclusive. Despite well-intentioned quoting, repairs may still prove unsuccessful.
