CAME-TV repair, service, and parts

Acme Revival is an independent repair network that operates separately from the manufacturers whose devices we service. Our independence enables a repair model that exists beyond manufacturer-controlled strategies, while preserving the ability to work with manufacturers where appropriate.

CAME-TV is a Chinese designer and manufacturer of professional film, photography, and broadcast-production equipment, established in 2012. The company is particularly known for its full-duplex wireless intercom/headset systems and also manufactures camera batteries and power systems, video and RGB lighting, wireless follow-focus equipment, camera supports/mounts, and related production accessories. Its portfolio also includes the VOLTRABLE power-products line and MECHRIG camera-mount/accessory line. CAME-TV explicitly offers OEM/ODM manufacturing across these brands, making it both an equipment brand and an OEM supplier for professional video-production hardware.

2 Most Seen Failures:

Battery Failure / Will Not Hold Charge

Rechargeable batteries may stop holding the required voltage, become over-discharged, or fail to recharge after prolonged storage or use. Affected equipment may have severely reduced runtime or fail to power on entirely.

Gimbal Will Not Power On

CAME-TV gimbals may appear completely dead even after charging due to a depleted battery, battery protection state, or power-system fault. Some CAME-Single cases have also been associated with the internal control board entering a protective sleep state.

Continuous Beeping at Startup

A gimbal that continues beeping after startup can indicate insufficient battery voltage, a deteriorated battery, or a faulty charger. Normal startup/calibration beeping should stop, whereas persistent beeping indicates a power-related problem requiring troubleshooting.

Gimbal Shaking / Excessive Vibration

The gimbal may shake, oscillate, or vibrate instead of providing smooth stabilization. Incorrect camera balance, payload configuration, or control settings can prevent the motors from stabilizing the camera correctly.

Control Board / Firmware Failure

Installing an incorrect firmware version or making unsupported SimpleBGC software changes can erase or corrupt the gimbal control-board configuration. The result can be severe malfunction or a gimbal that no longer stabilizes correctly and requires service.

Loose or Intermittent Battery Connection

Removable batteries can develop an insecure connection with the gimbal or other CAME-TV hardware, resulting in intermittent power or unexpected shutdowns. Loose battery or load contacts can also generate abnormal heat because of poor electrical contact.

Wireless Video Receiver Has No Picture

Crystal-series wireless video receivers may power on but produce no image because of transmitter/receiver power problems, antenna or cable faults, incorrect HDMI/SDI selection, or an unsupported video format. The video link can therefore appear active while usable video remains absent.

Poor / Unstable Wireless Video

Wireless video can exhibit degraded or unreliable image quality when HDMI/SDI cabling cannot properly support the selected resolution or the transmitter and receiver are positioned improperly. Multiple nearby wireless systems can also require separate channel/frequency settings to avoid interference.

Battery Overheating / Thermal Protection

CAME-TV batteries can become unusually hot because of poor electrical contact, aging cells, excessive temperature, or operating conditions that trigger thermal protection. Some battery models shut down or display a temperature fault when their protection limits are reached.

1 Acme Revival offers repair, service, and part rebuild opportunities for most CAME-TV devices.

Connect with a technician.

  1. 1 Repairs are performed on a best-effort basis. Acme Revival utilizes a network of sophisticated technicians and engineers with diverse service offerings; despite this, factors that influence the repair outcome may ultimately prove unsuccessful. Acme Revival makes no claim that it can, guarantee a repair before your device is sent in for diagnostic evaluation; even then, repair and diagnostic work are not mutually exclusive. Despite well-intentioned quoting, repairs may still prove unsuccessful.
