Cambium Networks repair, service, and parts

Acme Revival is an independent repair network that operates separately from the manufacturers whose devices we service. Our independence enables a repair model that exists beyond manufacturer-controlled strategies, while preserving the ability to work with manufacturers where appropriate.

Cambium Networks Corporation is a global telecommunications and networking equipment OEM specializing in broadband and enterprise network infrastructure. The company designs and develops fixed wireless broadband equipment, point-to-point and point-to-multipoint wireless systems, PON/XGS-PON fiber broadband products, enterprise Wi-Fi access points, LAN switches, security gateways, and associated cloud/network-management software. Its equipment is used by internet service providers, enterprises, industrial organizations, governments, and public-safety organizations to provide broadband access, wireless backhaul, Wi-Fi, IoT connectivity, and managed networks. Cambium is particularly known for its fixed wireless broadband technology and its ONE Network platform, which integrates fixed wireless, Wi-Fi, switching, and cloud-based network management.

2 Most Seen Failures:

Ethernet Port Failure / Lockup

Ethernet interfaces can stop passing traffic, drop link, negotiate at reduced speeds, or become permanently inoperable. This is repeatedly reported on ePMP/Force models, including Force 300-25 and ePMP 2000, with some cases requiring a power cycle and others requiring radio replacement.

Random Reboots / Power Instability

Radios may unexpectedly reboot or lose power, particularly during power fluctuations or brownouts. Field reports identify Force 300-25 revisions as especially susceptible, while cabling, PoE supplies, and unstable mains power can produce similar symptoms.

Lightning / Electrical Surge Damage

Electrical surges conducted through outdoor Ethernet cabling can damage the radio's Ethernet interface, RF circuitry, or the entire unit. Cambium specifically recommends grounding and transient-voltage surge suppression because the Ethernet LAN port can otherwise absorb surge energy directly.

Water Ingress / Connector Corrosion

Moisture entering outdoor radios, Ethernet connectors, or GPS accessories can cause corrosion, intermittent connectivity, or complete hardware failure. Reports involving Force 300-25 radios and Force 4625 GPS accessories document visible water intrusion and failed components following rain exposure.

Flash Memory / File-System Corruption

Flash corruption can leave an access point unable to boot or become accessible through its normal management interfaces. Cambium has documented this on cnPilot e410 and warned that excessive NOR-flash writes on XV/XE and cnPilot devices can potentially render hardware inoperable.

GPS / Synchronization Failure

Integrated or external GPS receivers can lose synchronization, causing synchronized access points to stop transmitting or operate with increased interference. Cambium has documented synchronization problems involving ePMP 1000/2000/3000, PMP 450, cnPulse, and uGPS hardware.

PoE / Insufficient Power Failure

Incorrect PoE delivery, failing injectors, cabling losses, or erroneous LLDP power negotiation can leave devices underpowered, disable radios and peripherals, or cause repeated boot/reboot behavior. cnPilot access points can deliberately shut down services when the reported available PoE power falls below operating requirements.

Firmware / Boot Flash Corruption

Loss of power while firmware is being written can corrupt the bootloader or flash contents and leave a radio unreachable or continuously flapping its Ethernet interface. Some ePMP units can be recovered through TFTP, but bootloader corruption can make the unit unrecoverable and require replacement.

Ethernet Connector / Cabling Contact Failure

Poor RJ45 contact, damaged connector pins, cable faults, or deterioration at the outdoor Ethernet connection can cause packet loss, link-speed degradation, intermittent reboots, or complete loss of connectivity. Force 200/190/300-series field reports repeatedly associate reseating or replacing Ethernet connections with restoration of normal operation.

Connect with a technician.

  1. 1 Repairs are performed on a best-effort basis. Acme Revival utilizes a network of sophisticated technicians and engineers with diverse service offerings; despite this, factors that influence the repair outcome may ultimately prove unsuccessful. Acme Revival makes no claim that it can, guarantee a repair before your device is sent in for diagnostic evaluation; even then, repair and diagnostic work are not mutually exclusive. Despite well-intentioned quoting, repairs may still prove unsuccessful.
  2. 2 Per information known, researched and collected by Acme Revival and its systems at time of page publishing (September 23, 2026).
