BSH Hausgerate repair, service, and parts

Acme Revival is an independent repair network that operates separately from the manufacturers whose devices we service. Our independence enables a repair model that exists beyond manufacturer-controlled strategies, while preserving the ability to work with manufacturers where appropriate.

BSH Hausgeräte GmbH, commonly known internationally as BSH Home Appliances Group, is one of the world's largest manufacturers of household appliances and the leading home-appliance manufacturer in Europe by value. Founded in 1967 as a joint venture between Robert Bosch GmbH and Siemens AG, BSH has been wholly owned by the Bosch Group since 2015. The company develops and manufactures a broad range of major and small appliances, including refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, ovens, cooktops, ventilation products, vacuum cleaners, coffee machines and kitchen appliances. Its brand portfolio includes Bosch, Siemens, Gaggenau, NEFF and Thermador, among other regional brands, and it increasingly integrates connected-home functionality through its Home Connect ecosystem. In 2025, BSH generated approximately €15B in revenue, employed more than 56,000 people, operated 37 factories, and maintained a presence in roughly 50 countries.

2 Most Seen Failures:

Dishwasher Base-Pan Water Leak / AquaStop Activation

Water enters the dishwasher base tray and triggers the anti-flood safety switch, commonly producing E15 on Bosch and Siemens models. Typical causes include leaking seals, hoses, pumps, sump components, or unintended water entering the base.

Dishwasher Drain Pump / Drainage Failure

Dishwashers fail to drain and may leave standing water or display E23, E24, or E25-type faults. Common causes include a blocked or failed drain pump, clogged filter, obstructed check valve, or restricted drain hose.

Dishwasher Heat Pump / Heater Failure

The dishwasher stops heating water or drying dishes correctly, frequently associated with E09, E20, or related heating faults. Failure of the integrated heat-pump/heater assembly, its electrical connections, or heater circuitry can require assembly replacement.

Washing Machine Drain Pump Failure

Washers retain water, stop before completing the cycle, or display E18/F18 because the drainage system cannot evacuate water. Blocked pump filters and hoses are frequent causes, while worn or seized drain pumps produce the same symptoms.

Water Inlet / Fill-System Failure

Dishwashers and washing machines may fill slowly, fail to fill, or stop with water-supply errors such as E16, E17, or E18 depending on the appliance. Common hardware causes include restricted inlet valves, AquaStop assemblies, flow meters, inlet filters, hoses, and water-level sensing components.

Door Lock / Latch Failure

Washing machines, dishwashers, and ovens may refuse to start or remain locked when the door-lock mechanism, latch switch, or associated actuator fails. BSH appliances can report dedicated door-lock errors when the control electronics cannot confirm that the door is safely closed.

Electronic Control Board / User-Interface Failure

Appliances can become completely unresponsive, operate intermittently, display communication errors, or fail to execute programs because of control-module faults. Common failure points include power-supply components, relays, triacs, damaged PCB connections, and communication between the main board and display/interface module.

Refrigerator Evaporator Fan / Defrost-System Failure

BSH refrigerators can develop inadequate or uneven cooling when the evaporator fan, temperature sensor, defrost heater, or associated defrost circuitry fails. Ice accumulation around the evaporator can subsequently restrict airflow and worsen temperature-control problems.

Oven Heating Element / Temperature-Sensing Failure

BSH ovens may heat slowly, fail to reach temperature, heat unevenly, or report temperature-related errors when a bake/broil element, temperature sensor, relay, or heating circuit fails. Convection models can additionally develop fan-motor failures that cause uneven cooking or loss of convection operation.

Connect with a technician.

  1. 1 Repairs are performed on a best-effort basis. Acme Revival utilizes a network of sophisticated technicians and engineers with diverse service offerings; despite this, factors that influence the repair outcome may ultimately prove unsuccessful. Acme Revival makes no claim that it can, guarantee a repair before your device is sent in for diagnostic evaluation; even then, repair and diagnostic work are not mutually exclusive. Despite well-intentioned quoting, repairs may still prove unsuccessful.
