Bose Professional repair, service, and parts

Acme Revival is an independent repair network that operates separately from the manufacturers whose devices we service. Our independence enables a repair model that exists beyond manufacturer-controlled strategies, while preserving the ability to work with manufacturers where appropriate.

Bose Professional is a professional and commercial audio manufacturer focused on installed sound and AV systems for venues such as workplaces, hotels, restaurants, retail spaces, universities, houses of worship, theaters, and stadiums. Its product portfolio includes installed loudspeakers, amplifiers, digital signal processors, conferencing and control products, and related professional audio infrastructure. The business separated from Bose Corporation in 2023 when Transom Capital acquired Bose’s commercial installation and conferencing operations, and it now operates independently while retaining more than 50 years of Bose professional-audio heritage. Bose Professional is particularly known for engineered installed-audio systems that are designed to be straightforward for AV integrators and consultants to specify, install, configure, and operate.

2 Most Seen Failures:

Power Supply Failure

Unit will not power on, repeatedly shuts down, or reports abnormal DC rail/power-supply faults. Common underlying causes include failed power-supply components, blown internal fuses, brownout/surge damage, or defective switching circuitry.

Amplifier Output Stage Failure

One or more channels produce no audio, distorted audio, or immediately enter protection. Bose service documentation specifically associates these faults with failed output FETs, amplifier modules, and related power-stage circuitry.

Thermal Shutdown / Overheating

Audio cuts out or the amplifier enters protection after operating under load. Restricted ventilation, failed cooling fans, excessive load, or elevated internal power-supply/FET temperatures are frequent triggers.

Short-Circuit / Speaker-Line Protection

Amplifier channels mute, fault, or cycle into protection because the output detects a short or abnormally low-impedance load. Damaged speaker wiring, connectors, loudspeaker components, or overloaded distributed-audio lines are common causes.

Cooling Fan Failure

Rack amplifiers develop fan alarms, overheating, shutdowns, or intermittent operation when internal amplifier or power-supply fans stop operating correctly. PowerMatch documentation specifically identifies simultaneous amplifier or power-supply fan failure as a service-level fault.

DSP / Digital Processing Failure

Hardware powers up but produces no audio, corrupted audio, boot errors, or becomes unresponsive. Documented faults include DSP boot failure, DSP I2C communication errors, failed ADC/DAC communication, and complete system halt conditions.

Flash Memory / Firmware Failure

The device becomes stuck during startup, loses configuration, fails firmware updates, or requires recovery mode. PowerMatch and ControlSpace hardware have documented flash-memory faults and firmware-update failures that can leave the unit unable to boot normally.

Network / Dante Communication Failure

Networked amplifiers, processors, or active arrays disappear from ControlSpace, lose Dante subscriptions, or develop intermittent/no audio. Faults may originate in Ethernet/Dante interfaces, network configuration, firmware, or communication hardware.

Intermittent / No Audio Channel

One channel or an entire unit develops intermittent audio, low output, or complete signal loss despite powering normally. Recurring causes across Bose Professional equipment include amplifier-module faults, input/output circuitry problems, ADC/DAC faults, connector issues, protection states, and internal signal-path failures.

1 Acme Revival offers repair, service, and part rebuild opportunities for most Bose Professional devices.

Connect with a technician.

  1. 1 Repairs are performed on a best-effort basis. Acme Revival utilizes a network of sophisticated technicians and engineers with diverse service offerings; despite this, factors that influence the repair outcome may ultimately prove unsuccessful. Acme Revival makes no claim that it can, guarantee a repair before your device is sent in for diagnostic evaluation; even then, repair and diagnostic work are not mutually exclusive. Despite well-intentioned quoting, repairs may still prove unsuccessful.
  2. 2 Per information known, researched and collected by Acme Revival and its systems at time of page publishing (September 23, 2026).
