BONECO repair, service, and parts

Acme Revival is an independent repair network that operates separately from the manufacturers whose devices we service. Our independence enables a repair model that exists beyond manufacturer-controlled strategies, while preserving the ability to work with manufacturers where appropriate.

BONECO is a Swiss air-treatment equipment manufacturer specializing in products that improve indoor humidity, air cleanliness, and circulation in homes and workplaces. Its core range includes ultrasonic, evaporative and steam humidifiers, air washers, air purifiers, hybrid humidifier/purifier systems, air-shower fans, and environmental sensors. The business traces its air-treatment history to 1963 and has concentrated primarily on humidification and air purification since 1991. Today BONECO operates as part of the family-owned PLASTON Group, with BONECO focused primarily on product development, branding and sales while PLASTON provides manufacturing and assembly capabilities. The brand is particularly known for premium residential humidifiers and its combined “healthy air” approach to humidification and purification.

2 Most Seen Failures:

No Mist / Humidification Output

Humidifier powers on but produces little or no mist. Common causes include mineral buildup on the ultrasonic membrane, restricted water flow through the demineralization cartridge, or deterioration of the ultrasonic transducer.

Weak Mist Output

Mist volume becomes noticeably lower than normal even at maximum output. Scale on the membrane, clogged water-treatment cartridges, low water temperature, or an aging transducer are frequent causes.

Water Leakage

Water escapes from the tank, base, cap, or internal seals. Hairline tank cracks, degraded seals, damaged valves, or poor tank seating are common failure points reported on BONECO humidifiers.

Fan Motor Failure / Excessive Noise

The fan becomes noisy, slows down, overheats, or stops operating. Bearing wear, dust contamination, obstructed blades, or motor deterioration are typical causes across Air Washer, Hybrid, purifier, and fan-based models.

Drum Motor / Air Washer Drive Failure

The humidification drum stops rotating or triggers a drive-related error. Mechanical binding, contaminated drive components, or failure of the drum motor can prevent normal humidification.

Mineral Scale / Ultrasonic Membrane Fouling

Hard-water deposits accumulate on the ultrasonic membrane and water base, reducing or stopping output. Severe buildup can cause intermittent operation and accelerate transducer or heater deterioration.

Water-Level Detection Failure

The appliance incorrectly reports an empty tank or repeatedly shuts off even when water is present. Restricted cartridge flow, sticking floats, contaminated level sensors, or defective detection circuitry can produce this symptom.

Airflow Loss / Filter Restriction

Air purifier or hybrid models develop weak airflow and reduced purification performance. Loaded HEPA filters, obstructed air inlets, dirty fans, or heavy internal dust accumulation are the most common causes.

Sensor / Automatic-Control Failure

Humidity, particle, or air-quality readings become inaccurate or automatic operation behaves erratically. Dirty particle sensors, contaminated humidity sensors, or sensor/electronic faults can prevent the unit from regulating output correctly.

Connect with a technician.

  1. 1 Repairs are performed on a best-effort basis. Acme Revival utilizes a network of sophisticated technicians and engineers with diverse service offerings; despite this, factors that influence the repair outcome may ultimately prove unsuccessful. Acme Revival makes no claim that it can, guarantee a repair before your device is sent in for diagnostic evaluation; even then, repair and diagnostic work are not mutually exclusive. Despite well-intentioned quoting, repairs may still prove unsuccessful.
