AWOL Vision is a consumer audiovisual manufacturer founded in 2020 and operated by Elevation Technology Partners LLC. The company specializes in premium large-format home-entertainment systems, particularly 4K RGB/triple-laser projectors, with ultra-short-throw models such as the Aetherion and LuxVision lines and long-throw products under its Valerion line. Its broader ecosystem includes ALR projection screens, motorized screens and cabinets, wireless surround-sound systems, and related home-cinema equipment. AWOL Vision is particularly known for high-brightness triple-laser projection, very large image sizes, advanced gaming features, and proprietary image technologies such as PixelLock and Anti-RBE. The company is headquartered in Delray Beach, Florida, while its hardware design and manufacturing are conducted in China.
White, black, or permanently stuck pixels can appear in the projected image as the DLP/DMD assembly develops failed micromirrors. Multiple LTV-3000 and LTV-3500 owners have reported dead-pixel problems requiring projector replacement or DMD-related service.
The projector may display a high-temperature warning and shut itself down, particularly when airflow is restricted or the cooling system is malfunctioning. Owner reports also document LTV-3500 units repeatedly shutting down because of fan-related faults.
Connected sources may intermittently lose video, show a black screen, or report "No Signal" because of HDMI handshake, cable-bandwidth, HDCP, input-selection, or port communication problems. High-bandwidth 4K/HDR sources are especially sensitive to HDMI cable and format compatibility.
Video may remain normal while audio disappears through HDMI eARC, optical, Bluetooth, or the internal speakers. Incorrect output routing, CEC/eARC negotiation, incompatible audio formats, or connection instability are common causes.
The projector's Android or Google TV system may freeze, become unresponsive, enter Safe Mode, or fail to operate normally after startup. Firmware corruption or an interrupted software/DLP update can also leave the projector unresponsive and may require professional recovery.
The TriChroma laser can stop producing an image even though the projector still has power. AWOL documents this condition with a five-flash red indicator and notes that the foreign-object detection system or its sensor window can prevent laser activation.
The projected image can become soft or unevenly focused and require electric-focus adjustment. Lens contamination, projector movement, improper positioning, or focus-system adjustment problems can produce persistent blur.
The remote may stop responding, lose pairing, or fail to control projector functions. Battery problems are common, but Bluetooth/IR communication and pairing issues can also leave an otherwise operating projector difficult to control.
Images may appear wavy, geometrically distorted, incorrectly aligned, flickering, or improperly scaled. Keystone settings, physical UST alignment, electrical interference, HDMI signal instability, and image-processing/firmware issues are recurring causes.
