Avocor repair, service, and parts

Acme Revival is an independent repair network that operates separately from the manufacturers whose devices we service. Our independence enables a repair model that exists beyond manufacturer-controlled strategies, while preserving the ability to work with manufacturers where appropriate.

Avocor is a professional display and collaboration-technology manufacturer specializing in large-format interactive displays, commercial displays, digital signage, ultra-wide displays, dvLED systems, and associated collaboration software. Its products are designed primarily for corporate meeting rooms, classrooms, government environments, healthcare facilities, and other professional communication spaces, with integrations for platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet. Avocor describes itself as designing, developing, and manufacturing purpose-built collaboration displays ranging from huddle-room screens to large conference-room and classroom installations. The company became part of AUO Display Plus in September 2024, strengthening its access to AUO's display technology, manufacturing resources, and supply chain.

2 Most Seen Failures:

Touchscreen Not Responding

Touch input stops working entirely or the display is no longer recognized as a touch device by the connected computer. Common causes include touch-controller/USB interface faults, incorrect touch-port mapping, firmware problems, or failure of the FlatFrog/InGlass touch subsystem.

Touch Accuracy or Calibration Failure

Touches register in the wrong location, lag behind the user's input, or become unreliable around portions of the screen. This may result from calibration loss, touch-controller firmware issues, sensor malfunction, or incorrect host-device identification.

No Video / No Signal

The display powers on but reports "No Signal," remains blank, or intermittently loses the connected HDMI, DisplayPort, USB-C, or OPS video source. Frequent fault areas include input circuitry, HDMI/DP interfaces, EDID/HDCP handshaking, source-detection circuitry, and damaged connectors.

Power-On or Startup Failure

The display fails to power up, remains in standby, repeatedly shuts down, or shows no power indication. Likely hardware causes include the internal power supply, AC input circuitry, mainboard power regulation, power-switch circuitry, or associated protection components.

Intermittent Flickering or Unstable Image

The image flickers, dithers, drops out, shows horizontal or vertical disturbances, or becomes unstable during operation. Failures may involve the scaler/mainboard, input signal circuitry, display timing electronics, cabling interfaces, or the LCD panel electronics.

No Audio or Speaker Output

Video remains present but the internal speakers produce no sound, one channel is missing, or USB audio fails to enumerate correctly. Typical hardware suspects include the audio amplifier stage, speaker assemblies, mainboard audio circuitry, USB audio interface, or internal cabling.

USB-C Connectivity Failure

USB-C stops providing one or more expected functions such as video, touch, USB peripherals, Ethernet, audio, or device charging. The fault can originate in the USB-C connector, power-delivery circuitry, USB hub/controller, mainboard interface, or damaged high-speed signal paths.

OPS Computer Not Detected or Not Booting

An installed OPS module fails to appear as a source, does not power on, or operates intermittently after startup or sleep. Common causes include the OPS connector, slot power circuitry, OPS module hardware, mainboard detection logic, or damage caused by installing/removing the module while powered.

Display/Mainboard Freezing or Rebooting

The Avocor display becomes unresponsive, crashes, unexpectedly restarts, or requires an AC power cycle to recover. Potential hardware causes include mainboard instability, failing embedded storage or memory, regulator faults, overheating components, or scaler/control-board failure.

Connect with a technician.

  1. 1 Repairs are performed on a best-effort basis. Acme Revival utilizes a network of sophisticated technicians and engineers with diverse service offerings; despite this, factors that influence the repair outcome may ultimately prove unsuccessful. Acme Revival makes no claim that it can, guarantee a repair before your device is sent in for diagnostic evaluation; even then, repair and diagnostic work are not mutually exclusive. Despite well-intentioned quoting, repairs may still prove unsuccessful.
  2. 2 Per information known, researched and collected by Acme Revival and its systems at time of page publishing (September 22, 2026).
