Avanti Products is a U.S. appliance brand specializing in compact and space-efficient residential and commercial appliances. Founded in 1972, the company is particularly known for compact refrigerators, freezers, wine coolers, beverage centers, microwaves, ranges, dishwashers, ice makers, water dispensers, laundry equipment, and other appliances designed for apartments, dormitories, offices, hotels, break rooms, and other space-constrained environments. Avanti states that it manages engineering, testing, and quality control while maintaining a North and Central American distribution and service network. Its products are largely produced through overseas appliance manufacturers, with import data showing substantial sourcing from China as well as Turkey and Thailand.
Avanti refrigerators, freezers, beverage coolers, and wine coolers commonly develop weak or complete loss of cooling from a failing compressor, compressor start relay, overload protector, or sealed-system refrigerant problem. Symptoms include a warm cabinet, repeated clicking, a hot compressor, or the compressor running without producing adequate cooling.
Mechanical thermostats, thermistors, and electronic temperature-control boards can fail or drift out of calibration across Avanti refrigeration products. The appliance may run continuously, fail to start cooling, freeze contents, or maintain temperatures far above the selected setting.
Failed or seized evaporator, condenser, or thermoelectric heat-sink fans are a recurring cause of poor cooling in Avanti refrigerators and wine coolers. The cooling source may still operate, but insufficient airflow causes elevated cabinet temperatures, uneven cooling, excessive compressor runtime, or overheating.
Avanti refrigerator and freezer models can develop heavy evaporator frost when the defrost heater, thermostat, timer, sensor, or related circuit fails. Ice eventually restricts airflow and produces a refrigerator that runs but no longer cools adequately.
Avanti microwaves commonly experience a condition where the display, fan, and turntable operate normally but food does not heat. Typical hardware causes are failure of the magnetron, high-voltage capacitor, diode, transformer, or door-interlock switch.
Avanti portable and compact washers can stop draining because of a failed drain pump or an obstructed drain system. A malfunctioning pump may leave water in the tub, prevent the spin cycle from starting, or produce an E4 drain-pump error on supported models.
Avanti washers may refuse to spin when the lid or top-cover safety switch fails to indicate that the lid is closed. Related symptoms include an otherwise functional washer stopping before spin, intermittent operation, or a top-cover-open error despite the lid being shut.
Avanti electric ranges can lose oven or surface heating because of an open heating element, failed element connection, or temperature-control fault, while gas models can suffer burner or oven ignition failures. Typical symptoms are an oven that does not heat, a dead surface burner, or a gas burner that clicks but does not ignite.
Avanti countertop and built-in ice makers commonly stop producing ice when the circulation water pump fails or the water-level/ice-full sensor malfunctions. Pump problems can cause an add-water indication despite available water, abnormal pump noise, or a normal-looking refrigeration cycle with little or no ice production.
