AV Stumpfl GmbH is an Austrian, family-owned professional audiovisual equipment manufacturer founded in 1975. The company develops and manufactures high-performance projection screens for mobile/event and permanent-installation applications, along with media-server hardware and software used for multi-display playback, projection mapping, digital signage, and complex live visual productions. Its best-known product families include its Monoblox and Fullwhite projection-screen systems and the PIXERA real-time media-server platform. AV Stumpfl products are aimed primarily at live events, rental and staging, museums, theaters, exhibitions, corporate installations, education, and other professional visualization environments, with the company emphasizing in-house engineering and Austrian manufacturing.
PIXERA, Wings Engine, and Stage media servers can fail to start because of power-supply, motherboard power-delivery, or related internal hardware faults. Symptoms include complete no-power operation, unexpected shutdowns, or repeated restart attempts.
DisplayPort and other video outputs may remain black, disappear, or fail to recognize connected projectors and displays. GPU/output hardware, DisplayPort connections, or corrupted/incorrect EDID handling are common areas to investigate.
Media servers depend heavily on SSD and high-speed storage for the operating system and show content. A failing or degraded drive can cause boot problems, missing media, unusually slow loading, playback stalls, or severe stuttering.
GPU faults can produce missing outputs, graphical corruption, unstable playback, black screens, or failure of particular display ports. Multi-GPU PIXERA systems can also exhibit output abnormalities when one card or its associated connections becomes unstable.
Deltacast and other installed SDI/HDMI capture hardware can stop recognizing incoming video or report missing cards and ports. Hardware, firmware, driver, or individual input-channel failures typically present as no live signal despite a verified source.
A failed or unstable Ethernet adapter can prevent PIXERA managers, clients, Presence, or control devices from discovering and communicating with each other. Intermittent NIC faults may also cause synchronization loss, disappearing clients, or unreliable show control.
Media servers rely on forced-air cooling and large system fans to keep high-performance CPUs, GPUs, storage, and capture hardware within operating limits. Fan failure, obstructed filters, or reduced airflow can lead to overheating, instability, throttling, shutdowns, or component damage.
INLINE, MAGNUM, and other motorized AV Stumpfl screens can develop motor, motor-control, wiring, or drive faults that prevent the projection surface from raising or lowering correctly. Typical symptoms include no movement, intermittent movement, stopping prematurely, or operation in only one direction.
Motorized projection screens use operating and emergency limit mechanisms to control upper and lower travel. Incorrect adjustment, switch failure, or mechanical displacement can cause premature stopping, excessive travel, failure to stop, or risk of the projection surface being pulled from the winding tube.
