AuviTran repair, service, and parts

Acme Revival is an independent repair network that operates separately from the manufacturers whose devices we service. Our independence enables a repair model that exists beyond manufacturer-controlled strategies, while preserving the ability to work with manufacturers where appropriate.

End Use Segment

AuviTran is a French professional-audio manufacturer specializing in digital audio networking and protocol-conversion hardware. Founded in 2003, it develops products for live sound, installed audio, theaters, stadiums, performance venues, and other large-scale professional audio systems. Its main product families include Audio ToolBox AVBx3/AVBx7 platforms, interchangeable AxC audio and network interface cards, AV-WALL Dante wall interfaces, AVDT-BOB Dante breakout boxes with DSP, network bridges, and monitoring/control software. AuviTran is particularly known for making different professional audio technologies work together, supporting protocols and formats such as Dante, AES67, AVB/Milan, MADI, EtherSound, AES/EBU, ADAT, and analog audio. Its modular systems are designed for scalable routing, format conversion, network interoperability, and centralized monitoring in demanding professional-audio installations.

2 Most Seen Failures:

Network Link / Device Detection Failure

AuviTran devices may disappear from AVS-Monitor, Dante Controller, EtherSound, or ASIO systems because of failed Ethernet interfaces, unstable links, incorrect IP communication, or network-controller faults. Affected equipment can remain powered but cannot be discovered, configured, or routed.

Clock Synchronization Failure

AxC-ES100, Dante, AVB, and other network-audio cards can lose synchronization or fail to lock to the network clock, causing audio interruption, errors, or unusable channels. AuviTran firmware histories specifically document internal-clock and backplane-clock faults that produced slave synchronization problems.

Audio Channel Dropout / Lost Output

Individual or multiple audio channels may mute, disappear, or stop passing audio even though the device remains online. Firmware corrections for AuviTran network hardware have addressed lost output channels after reboot and intermittent muted-channel behavior in EtherSound systems.

Firmware / Flash Memory Corruption

AuviTran cards and frames can become unresponsive or fail to boot correctly after an interrupted or unsuccessful firmware update. Corrupted firmware or flash memory may prevent normal network operation and can require recovery, reflashing, or factory-level service.

Power Supply Failure

AVBx3, AVBx7, AVM500 and related rack hardware can develop no-power, intermittent-power, or power-rail faults associated with the main or auxiliary power supply circuitry. The Audio ToolBox specifically monitors Main, Aux, and Power states and reports supply-related faults through its front-panel status system.

Card Not Recognized / Backplane Communication Failure

AxC expansion cards may fail to initialize, disappear from their slot, or show no activity because of card electronics, connector, backplane-bus, or communication faults. AuviTran has issued firmware improvements specifically intended to improve backplane audio-bus reliability and card communication.

Audio Clock / Backplane Bus Failure

Failures in the internal audio clock or backplane timing can produce distorted audio, loss of routing, synchronization errors, or incompatibility between installed cards. AuviTran firmware updates have corrected backplane audio-clock compatibility and inter-slot clock-alignment problems.

Ethernet Port / Physical Link Failure

EtherSound, Dante, AVB, and control ports can experience link-down conditions caused by damaged RJ45 connectors, PHY circuitry, cabling interfaces, or port electronics. The device may otherwise operate normally while network audio or control through the affected port is completely unavailable.

Boot / Configuration Memory Failure

Audio ToolBox frames and network interfaces may boot with missing presets, incorrect configuration, failed flash saves, or settings that do not persist after power cycling. AuviTran firmware releases have addressed flash-save failures, memory save/load errors, configuration reload problems, and related startup behavior.

Connect with a technician.

  1. 1 Repairs are performed on a best-effort basis. Acme Revival utilizes a network of sophisticated technicians and engineers with diverse service offerings; despite this, factors that influence the repair outcome may ultimately prove unsuccessful. Acme Revival makes no claim that it can, guarantee a repair before your device is sent in for diagnostic evaluation; even then, repair and diagnostic work are not mutually exclusive. Despite well-intentioned quoting, repairs may still prove unsuccessful.
