Aurender is a South Korean high-end audio manufacturer specializing in premium digital music-source components for audiophile and professional-quality home audio systems. Its product portfolio centers on network music servers, streamers, digital transports, DAC-equipped network players, music-library servers/CD rippers, integrated streaming amplifiers, and master clocks. Aurender is particularly known for purpose-built hardware and software designed to deliver low-noise, low-jitter digital playback, with its proprietary Aurender Conductor control ecosystem forming a major part of the user experience. The company sells globally through specialist hi-fi dealers and distributors and reports that roughly 90% of its sales are exports.
Aurender fails to obtain an IP address, disappears from the Conductor app, or shows no valid MAC/IP information despite a connected Ethernet cable. Network-interface initialization, DHCP configuration, router communication, or internal network-controller problems are typical causes.
The internal music drive becomes unreadable, disappears from the library, produces file-access errors, or prevents music from being indexed correctly. Aging HDDs in older models and failed or corrupted SSDs can cause missing music, transfer failures, and abnormal startup behavior.
The unit powers up but remains stuck during initialization, fails to complete its boot sequence, or becomes inaccessible from the Conductor app. Corrupted system storage, incomplete updates, power interruptions, or internal computer-board faults can produce this condition.
The OLED/LCD display becomes completely dark, extremely dim, intermittent, or stops displaying track and metadata information correctly. Display-panel aging, display power circuitry, software control problems, or internal connections can be responsible.
The Aurender does not turn on, shuts down unexpectedly, or shows inconsistent operation from the front power switch. Internal power-supply components, standby circuitry, fuses, UPS/supercapacitor circuits, or power-distribution components may be involved.
The Aurender is powered and connected to the network but cannot consistently be discovered or controlled through the Conductor app. Network configuration, software/database corruption, firmware incompatibility, or internal service processes can cause repeated connection loss.
Albums disappear, metadata becomes incorrect, library scans fail, or the front panel shows unknown artists and filenames instead of normal metadata. Database corruption or indexing problems commonly appear after library changes, interrupted scans, or software updates.
A connected DAC is not detected, playback stops, or USB, AES/EBU, coaxial, or other digital outputs fail to deliver audio reliably. Output-interface circuitry, DAC handshaking, firmware state, cabling, or internal digital-board faults may be responsible.
Models using external word-clock or master-clock connections may fail to lock, show an invalid clock indication, or lose synchronization during playback. Incorrect clock frequency, connection faults, clock-interface circuitry, or a failing oscillator/clock module can cause the problem.
