Antari repair, service, and parts

Acme Revival is an independent repair network that operates separately from the manufacturers whose devices we service. Our independence enables a repair model that exists beyond manufacturer-controlled strategies, while preserving the ability to work with manufacturers where appropriate.

Antari Lighting & Effects is a Taiwanese manufacturer founded in 1984 that specializes in atmospheric and special-effects equipment for professional entertainment and production environments. Its core product lines include fog machines, haze machines, low-fog systems, snow machines, bubble machines, fans, CO₂-style effects, UV products, and associated effect-fluid systems used in concerts, theaters, clubs, broadcast productions, theme parks, houses of worship, festivals, and architectural entertainment. Antari designs and manufactures products through its Taiwan operation and is especially well known internationally for professional fog and haze equipment. The company also adapts its aerosol and fog-generation technologies for non-entertainment uses including security, pest control, humidity management, horticulture, sterilization, fire training, and leak detection.

2 Most Seen Failures:

Clogged Heater / Vaporizer Block

Fog or haze output becomes weak, intermittent, or stops entirely because residue restricts the fluid passage through the heater block. This is the most frequently documented Antari fog-machine failure and is especially common after contaminated, incorrect, or aged fluid is used.

Failed Fluid Pump

The machine heats normally but produces little or no fog because the electromagnetic fluid pump no longer moves liquid through the system. Pumps may still buzz or click even when their internal mechanism is no longer pumping effectively.

Blocked Fluid Lines or Nozzle

Residue, dried fluid, or contamination obstructs the pickup hose, metal tubing, or output nozzle, causing reduced or completely absent output. Antari hazers and foggers are particularly susceptible when stored without flushing or operated with unsuitable fluid.

Heater Temperature Sensor / Thermal Control Failure

The machine may remain in warm-up, overheat, shut down, or display temperature-related warnings when the thermistor, thermal cutoff, or associated wiring fails. Antari units can report heater-overheat or temperature-error conditions when proper temperature feedback is lost.

Main Control PCB Failure

A defective control board can prevent the heater, pump, fan, DMX interface, or front-panel controls from operating even though mains power is present. PCB faults commonly present as no output, erratic operation, failure to heat, or failure to respond to commands.

Fan or Blower Motor Failure

Fazers, hazers, snow machines, and other air-assisted Antari effects can develop weak output or no dispersion when the internal fan or blower stops, slows, or becomes obstructed. Dust and residue accumulation around air intakes can further overload the airflow system.

Fluid Feed Airlock / Pickup Failure

The pump runs but cannot draw fluid because air has entered the feed line, the pickup hose is loose, or the system has lost prime. This is particularly common after the tank has been emptied, refilled, transported, or allowed to run dry.

Power Supply / Fuse Failure

The unit may be completely dead or intermittently lose power because of a blown fuse, damaged mains connection, internal wiring fault, or power-supply component failure. Antari troubleshooting procedures repeatedly identify the external fuse and incoming power as primary checks for non-operating machines.

Fluid-Level Sensor Failure

Machines equipped with electronic fluid detection may incorrectly report an empty tank or inhibit output despite adequate fluid being present. Sensor contamination, defective sensing hardware, or associated wiring can cause false low-fluid shutdowns and intermittent operation.

Connect with a technician.

  1. 1 Repairs are performed on a best-effort basis. Acme Revival utilizes a network of sophisticated technicians and engineers with diverse service offerings; despite this, factors that influence the repair outcome may ultimately prove unsuccessful. Acme Revival makes no claim that it can, guarantee a repair before your device is sent in for diagnostic evaluation; even then, repair and diagnostic work are not mutually exclusive. Despite well-intentioned quoting, repairs may still prove unsuccessful.
