Analog Way repair, service, and parts

Acme Revival is an independent repair network that operates separately from the manufacturers whose devices we service. Our independence enables a repair model that exists beyond manufacturer-controlled strategies, while preserving the ability to work with manufacturers where appropriate.

Analog Way is a French professional audiovisual equipment manufacturer founded in 1989, specializing in high-performance video processing and screen-management systems. Its product portfolio centers on multi-screen presentation switchers, video-wall processors, image processors, media servers, hardware controllers, signal extenders, and related AV infrastructure, including its Aquilon, Alta 4K, Midra 4K, and Picturall/CorePlay platforms. Its equipment is designed for demanding live events and permanent installations such as corporate presentation spaces, stadiums and arenas, broadcast and XR studios, museums, immersive installations, casinos, command-and-control environments, and large LED display systems. Analog Way is particularly known for real-time 4K/8K video processing, multi-layer and multi-screen presentation, low-latency scaling, videowall management, and mission-critical reliability.

2 Most Seen Failures:

Power Supply Failure

Analog Way switchers and processors can develop failed internal or redundant PSU modules, causing no power, intermittent startup, shutdowns, or PSU fault indications. LiveCore and LivePremier systems use replaceable or redundant supplies specifically designed to tolerate individual PSU failures.

SDI Input Failure

SDI inputs may stop detecting otherwise valid video signals even when the same source and cable work on another input or another Analog Way unit. Failures can involve the SDI receiver/equalizer circuitry, connector damage, or the associated input board.

DVI/HDMI Input Port Failure

Individual DVI or HDMI inputs can develop static, distorted or pink video, intermittent detection, or complete loss of source recognition. Aging connector contacts, damaged receiver circuitry, ESD, or failed interface components are common hardware-level causes.

Video Output Failure

Main, preview, auxiliary, or digital outputs may stop producing a usable picture despite the processor correctly detecting an incoming signal. Faults can originate in the output connector, output driver circuitry, or processing/output board.

Cooling Fan Failure

Rack-mounted Analog Way processors rely on forced-air cooling and can develop noisy, slow, stalled, or failed fans after extended service. Poor cooling can produce thermal instability, shutdowns, or accelerated failure of power and processing components.

Front-Panel Control Failure

Front-panel buttons, rotary controls, illuminated keys, or associated control electronics can become intermittent or unresponsive with age and heavy event use. This can leave a unit operational through remote software while local controls respond incorrectly or not at all.

Front-Panel LCD/Display Failure

Older Analog Way presentation switchers can develop dim, blank, flickering, or otherwise unreadable front-panel displays. Likely failure points include the LCD module, backlight, display power circuitry, ribbon connections, or front-panel controller.

Boot or System-Board Failure

Processors can fail to complete startup, repeatedly reboot, freeze during initialization, or become inaccessible after powering on. Hardware causes can include aging system storage, motherboard components, internal power rails, or corrupted/nonfunctional boot hardware.

Modular I/O Card Failure

LiveCore, LivePremier and other modular Analog Way platforms can lose one or several inputs or outputs when an individual I/O card or its interface circuitry fails. Symptoms include missing ports, signals that cannot lock, intermittent video, or channels that remain unavailable despite known-good sources and cabling.

1 Acme Revival offers repair, service, and part rebuild opportunities for most Analog Way devices.

Connect with a technician.

  1. 1 Repairs are performed on a best-effort basis. Acme Revival utilizes a network of sophisticated technicians and engineers with diverse service offerings; despite this, factors that influence the repair outcome may ultimately prove unsuccessful. Acme Revival makes no claim that it can, guarantee a repair before your device is sent in for diagnostic evaluation; even then, repair and diagnostic work are not mutually exclusive. Despite well-intentioned quoting, repairs may still prove unsuccessful.
