Dead LED Row / LED Segment Failure
One or more rows or sections of LEDs stop illuminating while the rest of the panel continues operating. This has been reported on Bi-Flex panels and can produce visible dark bands or uneven output.
Acme Revival is an independent repair network that operates separately from the manufacturers whose devices we service. Our independence enables a repair model that exists beyond manufacturer-controlled strategies, while preserving the ability to work with manufacturers where appropriate.
Aladdin Lights (ALDN) is a South Korean manufacturer specializing in professional LED lighting equipment for cinema, television, broadcast, streaming, photography, studios, and live production. The company is particularly known for lightweight, flexible LED panels and says it introduced the first flexible LED panel for professional production in 2014. Its portfolio includes the MOSAIC, FABRIC, ALL-IN, and A-LITE families, spanning compact portable fixtures through large-format RGB/RGBWW flexible panels and tubes. Its products emphasize high color accuracy, portability, low-profile installation, and software/DMX control for demanding production environments.

The light becomes excessively hot during extended high-output operation and may reduce output, shut down, or display a temperature warning. Aladdin specifically requires adequate airflow and identifies a high-temperature warning state on supported models.
The fixture fails to power on, powers off unexpectedly, or operates intermittently because the external power supply or adapter is defective. Incorrect or incompatible power sources can also damage the fixture's electronics.
The light intermittently loses power or panel output because of a damaged, loose, or worn connector, socket, or cable connection. Repeated setup, transport, cable strain, or improper use of cables for supporting the fixture can contribute to connector damage.
The dimmer or controller stops responding, fails to regulate brightness or color correctly, or prevents the panel from operating. Aladdin systems commonly place key power, dimming, display, and control electronics in an external or integrated controller assembly.
Individual LEDs or localized groups of LEDs stop functioning after excessive heat, pressure, impact, or damage to the flexible panel. Aladdin specifically warns that covering LEDs with tape can cause them to burn out.
Sections of a flexible panel fail or become intermittent after excessive bending, folding, cutting, impact, or mechanical stress. Damage to internal conductive paths can leave part of the panel dark even when the controller and power supply remain functional.
The fixture operates locally but cannot reliably receive wired DMX or wireless LumenRadio control because of problems in the controller, DMX ports, wireless interface, or associated connections. Affected models use dedicated DMX IN/OUT and LumenRadio hardware for remote operation.
Battery-powered operation becomes unreliable because the battery no longer supplies adequate capacity, will not charge fully, or the battery cable/connection fails. Aladdin specifically identifies capacity degradation, inability to charge, and faults caused by incorrect battery cables or chargers as battery-related failure conditions.
