Adam Hall Group repair, service, and parts

Acme Revival is an independent repair network that operates separately from the manufacturers whose devices we service. Our independence enables a repair model that exists beyond manufacturer-controlled strategies, while preserving the ability to work with manufacturers where appropriate.

Adam Hall Group is a German manufacturer and global B2B supplier specializing in professional event, entertainment, and AV technology. Its proprietary brands include LD Systems for professional audio and PA systems, Cameo for professional lighting, Gravity for stands and mounting systems, Palmer for audio tools and studio/live signal equipment, Defender for cable-protection systems, plus Adam Hall Hardware and Adam Hall Cables. Its product ecosystem spans loudspeakers, portable PA systems, wireless microphones, amplifiers, lighting fixtures and moving heads, DI boxes and signal processors, stands, cables, stage equipment, rack and flight-case hardware, and industrial cable protection. The company is particularly known for combining German product engineering with a very broad one-source portfolio for live events, rental companies, system integrators, studios, venues, and industrial users; Adam Hall describes itself as one of Europe’s largest event-technology manufacturers.

2 Most Seen Failures:

Power Supply / Amplifier Failure

Powered LD Systems speakers, subwoofers, and PA systems can develop no-power, intermittent shutdown, popping, or unstable operation from aging capacitors, rectifiers, switching-supply components, or amplifier-module faults. Older DAVE and related active systems are especially susceptible to power-stage deterioration.

LED Module / Color Channel Failure

Cameo lighting fixtures can lose individual red, green, blue, white, or amber channels because of failed LED dies, driver ICs, or cracked solder joints. The fixture may still operate but produce incorrect colors, reduced brightness, or uneven output.

Cooling Fan / Overheating Failure

Cameo moving heads and high-output LED fixtures can suffer clogged or worn cooling fans, degraded thermal interfaces, or faulty temperature sensing. Symptoms include excessive fan noise, reduced output, thermal shutdown, or intermittent operation after warming up.

Speaker Driver Failure

LD Systems PA cabinets and DAVE-series systems can develop failed woofers or high-frequency drivers from prolonged high output, overheating, voice-coil damage, or mechanical wear. Typical symptoms are no output from one frequency range, severe distortion, scraping, or substantially reduced volume.

Control Potentiometer / Encoder Failure

Volume, channel-level, and other rotary controls on LD Systems amplifiers, wireless systems, and mixers can become intermittent or stop responding as potentiometer tracks and contacts wear. Users may experience scratchy audio, sudden level changes, dead spots, or a control that affects only part of its range.

DMX Communication Failure

Cameo fixtures can stop responding reliably to DMX because of damaged XLR connectors, receiver circuitry, termination faults, corrupted control electronics, or communication-related firmware problems. Fixtures may ignore commands, behave erratically, or lose control of selected functions.

Processor / Main Control Board Failure

LD Systems wireless and digitally controlled products can suffer microcontroller or main-board faults that cause blank or frozen displays, loss of audio, failure to boot, or abnormal control behavior. Processor overheating has been documented in older MEI-series transmitters and can progress to complete failure.

Moving-Head / Zoom Motor Failure

Cameo moving-head and projector fixtures can develop stalled pan, tilt, focus, or zoom mechanisms from worn motors, contaminated gearing, damaged position sensors, or motor-driver faults. The fixture may grind, fail calibration, move only partially, or remain stuck at startup.

Battery / Power-Switch Failure

Battery-powered LD Systems products such as MAUI GO and ANNY-series speakers can develop charging, battery-runtime, switching, or power-management faults. Symptoms include rapid discharge, failure to shut down completely, inability to charge normally, or operation only from external power.

Connect with a technician.

  1. 1 Repairs are performed on a best-effort basis. Acme Revival utilizes a network of sophisticated technicians and engineers with diverse service offerings; despite this, factors that influence the repair outcome may ultimately prove unsuccessful. Acme Revival makes no claim that it can, guarantee a repair before your device is sent in for diagnostic evaluation; even then, repair and diagnostic work are not mutually exclusive. Despite well-intentioned quoting, repairs may still prove unsuccessful.
  2. 2 Per information known, researched and collected by Acme Revival and its systems at time of page publishing (September 15, 2026).
