Accessory Power repair, service, and parts

Acme Revival is an independent repair network that operates separately from the manufacturers whose devices we service. Our independence enables a repair model that exists beyond manufacturer-controlled strategies, while preserving the ability to work with manufacturers where appropriate.

Accessory Power is a privately held U.S. consumer-electronics manufacturer and brand operator founded in 1980. It develops and markets electronics and technology accessories through several principal brands, including GOgroove for speakers, headphones and portable/in-car audio; ENHANCE for gaming peripherals and lighting; USA Gear for protective cases, bags and device mounts; and ReVIVE for charging and power products. Its broader catalog includes computer peripherals, speakers, headsets, keyboards, mice, chargers, batteries, mounts and related electronic accessories. The company designs and manages its products from California while using manufacturing in China and maintains sales/distribution operations across the U.S., Asia and Europe. It is particularly known for broad, value-oriented accessory product lines sold under multiple specialized consumer brands and for offering extended warranties across much of its portfolio.

2 Most Seen Failures:

No Power / Unit Will Not Turn On

Accessory Power speakers, gaming peripherals, lights, and other powered devices can become completely unresponsive because of failed batteries, damaged power inputs, defective cables, switches, or internal power circuitry. GOgroove SonaVERSE models are specifically documented with no-power troubleshooting.

Battery Will Not Charge / Short Battery Life

Rechargeable GOgroove and other portable Accessory Power products can stop accepting a charge or develop severely reduced runtime as their lithium-ion batteries age. Battery degradation is significant enough that Accessory Power specifically identifies declining battery performance as normal wear.

No Audio / Intermittent Sound

GOgroove speakers and ENHANCE audio products can produce no sound or intermittent output despite appearing powered. Common hardware-related causes include damaged 3.5 mm connections, broken internal wiring, worn jacks, amplifier faults, or failed speaker drivers.

Static / Distorted Audio

ENHANCE gaming headsets and GOgroove speakers can develop crackling, buzzing, distortion, or persistent static. When source and software issues are excluded, typical hardware causes include deteriorated cables, loose connectors, damaged drivers, amplifier circuitry, or poor internal connections.

Bluetooth Pairing / Connection Failure

Bluetooth-equipped GOgroove speakers can fail to pair, repeatedly disconnect, or remain connected without producing audio. Persistent cases can originate from a failing Bluetooth module, antenna connection, control board, or unstable power supply.

Charging Port / Power Connector Failure

USB, Mini-USB, Micro-USB, USB-C, and DC power connectors used across portable Accessory Power products can loosen, wear out, or stop making electrical contact. Symptoms include charging only when the cable is positioned at an angle, intermittent power, or complete inability to charge.

USB Port / Pass-Through Failure

ENHANCE cooling stands and other USB-equipped Accessory Power devices can develop nonfunctional USB or pass-through ports where connected peripherals are no longer detected. Failed sockets, fractured solder joints, damaged cables, or USB hub circuitry are common hardware-level causes.

Buttons / Volume Controls / Media Controls Stop Working

Playback buttons, power switches, volume wheels, and other physical controls on GOgroove speakers and ENHANCE peripherals can become intermittent or stop responding. Wear of tactile switches, rotary controls, contacts, or their PCB solder joints is the typical physical failure mechanism.

Microphone / Headset Input Failure

ENHANCE gaming headsets can lose microphone output, become intermittent, or produce unusually weak or noisy voice audio. Frequent hardware causes include broken conductors in the headset cable, damaged plugs, failed inline controls, loose boom-microphone connections, or microphone capsule failure.

Connect with a technician.

  1. 1 Repairs are performed on a best-effort basis. Acme Revival utilizes a network of sophisticated technicians and engineers with diverse service offerings; despite this, factors that influence the repair outcome may ultimately prove unsuccessful. Acme Revival makes no claim that it can, guarantee a repair before your device is sent in for diagnostic evaluation; even then, repair and diagnostic work are not mutually exclusive. Despite well-intentioned quoting, repairs may still prove unsuccessful.
