Absen (Shenzhen Absen Optoelectronic Co., Ltd.) is a Chinese professional-display manufacturer founded in 2001 and publicly listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange under 300389. The company designs and manufactures modular direct-view LED display systems, including indoor and outdoor commercial signage, fine-pitch and MicroLED/COB displays, rental and staging video walls, virtual-production screens, control-room and data-visualization displays, digital-out-of-home installations, conference displays, and large-format LED solutions for venues and live events. Absen is especially known for high-end commercial and ProAV LED installations, with more than 65,000 installations across 165+ countries and deployments in settings such as retail, corporate facilities, transportation, sports venues, Times Square, live events and broadcast/virtual-production environments. Its current technology development includes MicroLED, flip-chip COB, fine-pitch LED and energy-efficient outdoor displays.
One or more LED modules stop illuminating while the rest of the display remains operational. Absen troubleshooting documentation commonly points to failed power connections, burned power cables, defective switching power supplies, bad flat cables, failed modules, or receiving-card faults.
The complete LED wall remains dark even though the system is expected to be running. Frequent causes include loss of AC power, loose HDMI/DVI or main data connections, sending-card failure, graphics output problems, or controller faults.
The display produces garbled, misaligned, or otherwise corrupted video instead of the intended image. Typical causes include receiving-card power loss, failed data cables, incorrect configuration files, outdated receiving-card firmware, or a defective receiving card.
Adjacent LED modules show visibly different colors, brightness, or white balance. Absen identifies module power connections, flat cables, power supplies, LED modules, and receiving cards as common fault points associated with chromatic aberration.
A cabinet or group of modules may lose video, display corrupted content, or stop communicating when its receiving card fails. Receiving cards are repeatedly identified by Absen as replaceable components in black-module, scrambled-image, and control-system faults.
A failed switching power supply can cause individual modules, complete cabinets, or control electronics to shut down. Absen documentation specifically calls for checking missing DC output, burned power cabling, and replacing defective power supplies during troubleshooting.
The display may show no image or fail to communicate with the control computer when the sending card or controller malfunctions. Common symptoms include a black screen, missing running indicators, loss of control-system detection, or failed data output.
Loose, damaged, or failed flat/data cables can leave modules black, generate corrupted images, or interrupt communication between cabinets. Absen repeatedly lists cable inspection and replacement among the first corrective actions for these faults.
Cooling-fan failures can reduce airflow and contribute to overheating or unstable operation in LED display cabinets and power assemblies. Absen specifically includes fan failures among the recurring hardware problems addressed by its on-site troubleshooting service.
