A-Neuvideo repair, service, and parts

Acme Revival is an independent repair network that operates separately from the manufacturers whose devices we service. Our independence enables a repair model that exists beyond manufacturer-controlled strategies, while preserving the ability to work with manufacturers where appropriate.

A-NeuVideo is a professional audio/video electronics brand owned by A-Neutronics, Inc., focused primarily on signal distribution, switching, conversion, extension, processing, and display-management hardware. Its lineup includes HDMI matrix switchers, multiviewers, video-wall processors, scalers, splitters, distribution amplifiers, CAT/fiber extenders, audio extractors, signal generators/analyzers, capture and live-streaming devices, and related AV-over-IP equipment. The brand is particularly associated with commercial and installed-AV applications requiring routing and management of HDMI and other high-resolution video signals, including 4K60/HDR systems. The A-NEUVIDEO trademark specifically covers matrix switchers, video processors, distribution amplifiers, scalers, switchers, and digital-network video transmission.

2 Most Seen Failures:

No HDMI Video Output

Unit powers on normally but one or more HDMI outputs produce a black screen or no detected signal. Common hardware causes include failed HDMI receiver/transmitter circuitry, damaged HDMI connectors, or faults in the internal switching/output stage.

Intermittent or Flickering Video

Video periodically drops out, flashes, or loses synchronization, particularly at higher 4K bandwidths or over long HDMI/CAT cable runs. Degraded HDMI equalization, marginal transmitter/receiver circuitry, connector damage, or power instability can produce this symptom.

HDMI Handshake / HDCP Failure

Connected sources and displays fail to establish HDCP properly, resulting in a blank screen, disabled output, or repeated signal acquisition. Faults can involve the HDMI/HDCP processing IC, corrupted EDID/HDCP configuration memory, or a defective input/output interface.

EDID Detection / Resolution Failure

The switcher or extender fails to identify the connected display correctly, selects an unsupported resolution, or refuses to pass video until EDID settings are changed. EEPROM corruption, HDMI receiver faults, or failure of the EDID-management circuitry can prevent proper source-to-display negotiation.

Dead or Intermittent HDMI Port

A specific HDMI input or output stops functioning while the remaining ports continue to operate normally. Repeated cable insertion, electrostatic discharge, damaged connector pins, or failure of the port's HDMI transceiver/protection circuitry are typical causes.

Power Supply / No-Power Failure

The unit has no power LED, LCD activity, or video output, or repeatedly resets during operation. Failed external adapters, DC input connectors, regulators, capacitors, or internal power-conversion circuitry are common hardware suspects.

CAT Extender Receiver / PoC Failure

One or more remote receivers on ANI-0102/0104/0108-style extender systems lose video or fail to power through the CAT connection. Faults may involve the PoC supply circuitry, RJ45 magnetics/connectors, receiver power conversion, or HDBaseT/CAT transmitter-receiver electronics.

RS-232 / Ethernet Control Failure

The video path remains functional but the unit can no longer be controlled through RS-232, LAN/WebGUI, or automation equipment. Failures can occur in the serial transceiver, Ethernet interface, control processor, connector, or supporting power rails.

Front-Panel / LCD Control Failure

Front-panel buttons become unresponsive, the display remains dark or corrupted, or routing cannot be changed locally even though the unit may still pass video. Typical causes include a failed LCD/backlight, tactile switches, ribbon connections, front-panel PCB, or central control circuitry.

Connect with a technician.

  1. 1 Repairs are performed on a best-effort basis. Acme Revival utilizes a network of sophisticated technicians and engineers with diverse service offerings; despite this, factors that influence the repair outcome may ultimately prove unsuccessful. Acme Revival makes no claim that it can, guarantee a repair before your device is sent in for diagnostic evaluation; even then, repair and diagnostic work are not mutually exclusive. Despite well-intentioned quoting, repairs may still prove unsuccessful.
