Reestablishing Material Analysis Precision for Quality Control

What we did

Pentel of America, known for producing writing instruments and other creative tools, also relies on specialized analytical equipment to support its operations. When a Thermo Scientific Niton XL3t XRF Analyzer developed damage involving its 160-1017 Rev F power board, the handheld material-analysis instrument was sent to Acme Revival for evaluation and repair. The analyzer still powered on, but the documented problem centered on its power-management electronics. Acme Revival performed board-level service, ultimately repairing the PCB damage and the affected port, then reinforcing the port internally to help prevent further physical damage. After service, the original complaint was documented as resolved and the repair outcome was marked successful. The completed work returned Pentel’s XRF analyzer to service with the damaged electronics and port restored.
