Reestablishing Flow Measurement Precision for Water Management
What we did
GE TransPort PT878 Ultrasonic Flowmeter Xylem, a global water technology company focused on solving complex water and infrastructure challenges, relies on specialized instrumentation for measurement and analysis. When a GE TransPort PT878 Ultrasonic Flowmeter would not power on, the portable instrument was sent to Acme Revival for evaluation and service. Designed to measure liquid flow using ultrasonic technology without requiring permanent modification of the piping system, the PT878 provides a flexible tool for flow measurement and troubleshooting. Acme Revival evaluated the no-power condition and completed the approved repair work needed to address the documented failure. Following service, the flowmeter underwent functional testing to verify that the original power issue had been resolved. The repair concluded with a successful outcome, returning Xylem’s GE TransPort PT878 to working condition for continued use.
