Reestablishing Diagnostic Clarity to Support Animal Care
What we did
Haven Animal Hospital, part of the National Veterinary Associates community, provides veterinary care supported by dependable diagnostic equipment. When a Welch Allyn 11720 ophthalmoscope head developed a cracked lens, the instrument was sent to Acme Revival for evaluation. Used to examine the interior structures of the eye, an ophthalmoscope depends on clear, properly functioning optics to provide useful visualization. Acme Revival’s technician identified damage to the internal lens and optical system and determined that replacement of the damaged optics was necessary rather than attempting to repair the compromised lens. The approved service addressed the damaged optical components, with the instrument also examined for other issues related to the incident. The original complaint was ultimately documented as resolved, and the repair concluded successfully, returning the Welch Allyn ophthalmoscope to Haven Animal Hospital for continued use.
