Suspected issue : ElectricalPower on? : YesError message? : N/A”This most recent failure of the system occurred when I was trying to identify the pin functions on the topside control panel socket with my multimeter. I think I may have touched two pins together because the system shut down abruptly as if a fuse had blown, or a circuit breaker had popped. Bench test trouble shooting reveals: PCB shows no sign of physical or heat damage. When 110 VAC applied (via attached Power Relay board), the dreaded D9 diode flashes red with or without topside control panel connected (topside panel power light also flashes red when connected) There is 0 VAC output at the Circulation pump (Should operate continuously at 110 VAC regardless of temp sensor anomalies) When 110 VAC applied, the main PCB board transformer circuit output shows 12 VDC as expected, but there is 0 volts at the activation terminals of the Circ pump and Ozone pump relays. Both relays operate correctly and show 110 VAC output when external 12 volts is applied. Temperature sensor testing shows correct resistances over range of operating temperatures. Further Notes: Topside panel previously had issues (foreign substance contamination) but is thought to be operating properly now.”
