Device failing? : Not putting out oxygen. The concentrator was emitting white powdery material, according to the Indicator lights on the unit indicated the unit was a fire hazard, but it was not hot and no evident of any fire. The action statement said “Smoke has been detected inside the device and device is shutting down. Allow the concentrator to cool down and air out then try restarting , if it fails call the equipment provider.” I purchased the concentrator in December of 2018. It only had a 3 year warranty. I called the emergency service with Inogen and they told me that the unit needed to be repaired? It would take 6 weeks to repair.

THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER ANY DAMAGES OR DEFECTS RESULTING FROM MISUSE, ABUSE, ACCIDENT, ALTERATIONS, UNAUTHORIZED REPAIRS, OR LACK OF MAINTENANCE ON THE PART OF THE CUSTOMER.
