Santinelli has always had a great reputation in regards to making robust lens-cutting machines that last– and it’s why the LE 9000SX still makes sense today. No… it surely does not have all the new bells and whistles the brand new ones have, and no its LCD screen display is not in 4K resolution, but do you really care? The 9000SX still cuts just about every lens material known to man, utilizes a high-speed direct drive motor for a quick procedure, fully automated safety beveling, grooving and edge polishing, and takes up considerably less space on the counter than most anything else. It does however require an external blocker given a rather large tracer producing 32,000 data points per excessive which was quite impressive back in the day.
